Got a rat problem under my shed, next to my bantams. I have tried catching them in a trap for over a month with cheese, peanut butter, doughnuts, chocolate cake and sausages, but so far nothing.

Last thursday I purchased a plastic trap called 'Big Cheese', and sunday morning I found 3" of tail with 9" of sinew. But tonight after walking my Gus, I came back to the garden to hear scratching and knocking to find a 10" rat caught by the back foot trying to get under the shed with trap still atached. So I got my leather glove on and pulled the ba5tard out, it wasn't a pretty sight.

4 .22 flat point pellets through the ringpiece and he stopped breathing.

Job done!!

Big buggers arn't they.

Now for the rest of his family & friends.

I have a picture if I can post it?
