saint_bert Posted 29 July, 2010 Posted 29 July, 2010 Always helps to have comparisons of prices on the web as a bargaining tool. Ive often done that when I want to try before I buy but dont want to pay high street prices. Spot on. I wanted to get nipper one of those red and yellow cars for the garden. RRP of 50 quid for the 30th anniversairy edition in almost every shop/website. However, I found a good price comparison site and found the same product on Amazon for 35 quid. w00t
SNSUN Posted 29 July, 2010 Posted 29 July, 2010 I'm rubbish at haggling, and I think most salesmen pick up on it. My mum though works for Proctor and Gamble and gets a lot of stuff for next to nothing. I picked up a Tassimo coffee machine for 5 quid!
