So what?

I've just proved that the ticket office manager views the forum. In which case he'll be be aware of Illingsworthgate. Therefore any lack of response can be construed as the club knowing about the situation and taking the stance that they are above having to tell Nick why he has had his money returned.

The same (Different guise) forum, that. lowe hired external PR companies to infiltrate, that wilde used to gain support and that Crouch used to discredit the others the same one that jim hone spent his working week on ,.......................and the same one that David Luker used to post updated ticket information (Note he doesnt anymore - do the maths)
So which part of "....responding in an official capacity to anything posted on it." wasn't clear to you?

What complete and utter nonsence.

Err they always used to respond in an official capacity

Thinking out loud, isn't this 'episode' perhaps a simple case of NI creating an 'allegiance' (for want of a better word) with a publication (The Daily Echo) that Cortese has distanced himself from?

So, for the same reasons that Cortese banned The Daily Echo (rightly or wrongly) he is simply extending that ban (allegedly) to NI (again, rightly or wrongly).

Perhaps he's just being consistent with his approach to all things connected to the Echo? (rightly or wrongly)

(I'm not saying that NI has a direct connection with the Echo, because I've no idea, just that reading between the lines there seems to be some kind of alliance there. Maybe, maybe not)

Please show me anywhere that the football club have directly responded to something posted on this forum in an official capacity and I will stand corrected.

Oh, you have spoken to every fan to come to this conclusion have you?

No, of course not. Don't be so obtuse.

It is obvious though.

FACT you're a massive, boring, ego-maniac.

Who cares anyway?

What if they did? Now they don't? So what? I wouldn't encourage any business to communicate in real time on an open forum unless there are sound reasons for doing so. Telling a few over-excited people how many tickets have been sold for a match is hardly business critical.

Are Echo reporters still banned from the ground? I'm assuming Nick has written material for the paper in recent times. As a result of this sperhaps NC is classifying NI as an Echo writer and has therefoe revoked entry on that basis. I'm probably way off track, but I thought I'd put it out there.

In which case does this mean fans are not allowed to comment to Echo reporters because NC might not like it?

SFC seems to be turning into a dictatorship.

Yeah, anyone who gets a mention in The Echo will be banned. When they do full-page spreads on schools, all the kids featured are banned. Also, if you've ever bought, or even looked at, a copy you are banned.

Trolling is claiming things as FACT when indeed they are not FACT you are just giving personal opinion.

Like you do...

I've already removed "troll". I apologise for that. You're not a troll - you didn't start this thread. Just a numpty ;)

But if it turns out he was banned for going to media to express his views on the payment options then sorry but i have no sympathy for him.

really? I'm amazed at that attitude.

Well you had better be careful if an echo reporter asks you for your thoughts as you leave the ground.

Yeah, there must be a really high chance of a banning. It's probably best not to go at all, that way you can be safe.

I'm not amazed at all. Nothing can stop the sun shining out of Cortese's arse with some on here.

I do wonder whether all this division that Cortese is creating isn't a deliberate ploy to divide the fanbase.

That is not an official response to something posted on here - it is a new thread providing some very useful information. Try harder.

How could they do that when they would never look on here and certanily not post.......

The try harder bit was unecessary and just makes look even more silly (Especially when you click on the link above)

Go by all means, but just don't talk to the Echo. Freedom of speech is banned by Cortese.

What about the husband that came on here and mentioned that Cortese had told his wife that she needs to come back from maternity leave early or she will be sacked?

That is blatently hearsay nonsense. Although you like to believe rubbish like that it reinforces your retarted prejudices.

Just a question.

If Nicola is such a strong tyrant, and he wanted all us lot to know he was the KING os ST MARY's and he decided, 'I'm going to kick that p*ick Illingstworth in the Nuts and teach them all a lesson', and to do this he decided he was going to send a message that anyone who bad mouths him will lose their season ticket, as a lot are saying here, WHY DO IT SECRETLY?

Case in point. The Isralis decide to teach Hamas a lesson, so they send in an undercover commando team and crack the few water pipes and disappear? NO, they blow the hell out of them and let everyone know what they have done, and they ar the ones that have done it.

So why sneakily get back at NI by cancelling his season ticket? Why not just ban him from the ground or go to press and make him look like a ****?

I'm still of the mind that it's a case of his ego has been dented as he is now an irrelevence and he don't like it.

Like it or not giant Oaks grow out of little accorns and Cortese is going down the same road that Lowe did.

Hmmm... you are talking about a man that rents a house off a former Saints player, decides he doesn't like the ex-Saints player / landlords carpets, so rips them up and puts in laminate flooring down without even speaking to him, before deducting the costs he incurred off the rent he paid one month.

I really wouldn't put it past Cortese. Not at all.

If this is about censorship, which in my personal opinion it seems to be (and the club already has a recent history of this), then it's an absolute disgrace.

Sounds like censorship to me.

Disagree with Don Cortese at your peril:

First it was the Echo and then MLT and Laurie (over the Pardew sacking story).

Now it's the Saints Trust Chairman.

Who's next? The owners of dissenting web forums? BBC Radio Solent summarisers and commentators?

here is a question..after god know how much unfounded claims about cortese being like stalin, a tyrant, this or that..it being passed off as fact..

how would the admin on here like it if they were refused a ST for allowing such claims (which are probably against the laws of the land)

not suggesting...just curious..?

Sorry - but I cannot make any sense of that post at all. Time to move on.....

You sneaked in before me as it takes an age for type to appear on this forum (is that just me by the way? - ADMIN please sort this out if possible as it is driving me bloody mad)

I don't get the Echo so wasn't sure if he had an ad hoc column perhaps? (I thought I saw that mentioned on here a long time ago). That would be the obvious reason why he has been banned. I did also read on here that the club had made up with the Echo. Anyone able to clarify that?

if you have nothing constructive to add..then please dont

then again, it is painfully obvious that you are rammed right up the backside of the admin

*my seeing as we are in the freedom of speech, non censorship speculating season..I felt that needed to be said

Maybe this is how Italian businessmen behave. Maybe freedom of speech isn't respected so much where cortese comes from. Benito Muscolini ruled with a rod of iron.
