IMO the women on these programmes represent everything a woman should not be. Full of hystrionic, whinging, self centred *****es who are total drama queens and in need of a good kick up the c*nt.

Before you ask why i watch them, i watch neither, my own Carrie Bradshaw watches SATC and Loose Women i sometimes forget to turn over from as a i work in my dining room and have the TV on in the living room so i can hear them whinging, the bunch of middle aged, unattractive banshies.

Oh it's nothing new.

I remember when I was a kid my Nan watching 'House Party' on Southern - hell yeah I'm that old.

Same principle as Loose Women. More 'bloke friendly' in those days though.

The thing is the whole 'equality' bollix. If you had 5 blokes sat around talking about their piles, I bet you wouldn't get your own show.

Christ I remember that being on,typical afternoon tv whilst off school ill.

From my recollection though 'House Party' was more 'Womens Institute' tv as opposed to the LW format of some ageing hags clinging onto their better years to try and be sophisticated middle aged ladettes.

Inclined to agree about the bloke discussion programme though, and no doubt the BBC would want Graham Norton or a couple of resident arsebandits on the panel, which would defeat the object of it anyway.

Maybe not discussing their piles publicly but you have to go a long way to find better than Jeoff Stelling and the team on Gillette Soccer Saturday
