smithy Posted 26 July, 2010 Posted 26 July, 2010 (edited) Has just signed for Coventry. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/c/coventry_city/8855879.stm Any idea why we let him go? Seems like the lad is forging a decent career for himself. Isn't he a Saints fan? Edited 26 July, 2010 by smithy Typo nazi
Give it to Ron Posted 26 July, 2010 Posted 26 July, 2010 Went to Mountbatten school. Just one that got away.
trousers Posted 26 July, 2010 Posted 26 July, 2010 Has just singed for Coventry. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/c/coventry_city/8855879.stm Any idea why we let him go? We didn't want more than one player in the squad with a Z in his name at any one time
Matthew Le God Posted 26 July, 2010 Posted 26 July, 2010 (edited) Any idea why we let him go? Saints never had him properly in order to let him go. I think he left before 16 and went to Swindon. Edited 26 July, 2010 by Matthew Le God
hypochondriac Posted 26 July, 2010 Posted 26 July, 2010 Pretty sure he's not actually that good. He is. I had it confirmed. Soft lips apparently.
SNSUN Posted 26 July, 2010 Posted 26 July, 2010 Has just singed for Coventry? Harsh way for a football to earn a contract! "sing for me *****..."
benjii Posted 26 July, 2010 Posted 26 July, 2010 Cool. So a Saint can help the Skates get off to a losing start. Lovely stuff.
saintscottofthenortham Posted 26 July, 2010 Posted 26 July, 2010 I went to a party at his mums house, he wasn't too happy as he didn't have a clue who me or my 5 mates were, promtly accused me of kicking his cat, and we had a bit of a barny. Looking back, it may have had something to do with me doing a shotgun (shaking up a can and leathering a strong sharp object through the top of it and consuming the contents within about 3 seconds), the problem was that I was already smashed out of my brains and it took me a good 2 seconds to get the can to my mouth, leaving a good half a can of stronbow over his mums living room ceiling... I felt really guilty for a while, then he signed for Everton.

Dazza82 Posted 27 July, 2010 Posted 27 July, 2010 Im sure he was never on our books, was at swindon then went to Everton. Here is hoping he bangs in a few goals in their opening game!!
SNSUN Posted 27 July, 2010 Posted 27 July, 2010 It's a practise season for him, once he's had a season getting used to the Championship, we'll have been promoted and will be ready to bring him home. In a perfect world...

He was in our academy when he was at school, then the Saints didn't want him, and he signed for Swindon as far as i'm aware. Benjii, i can assure you he would absolutely love to score against the skates, as any of us would. Edited 27 July, 2010 by Macey_J2 Only just noticed Benjii's post!
