If he could get back to anywhere near his England form (I always liked him in an England shirt, much better than the tarts that played for England this summer) he'd be a revelation in league 1.

 

It would IMO be the lge 1 transfer of the season (but only if he can get his mojo back).

Just been snooping around a Forest forum to see if there was any news on Tyson and someone had posted that they were being linked with an ex-England international who'd had a less than successful spell abroad. Sound familiar...? Maybe we're backed off a deal for Vassell in return for them letting us have Tyson. Pure speculation on my part but stranger things have happened!

Is it necessary to put IMO in every post? Everything is only opinion. It seems a fair enough opinion to me.

Do you not suspect that he'd want far too much, given that we are told we are being run along proper business lines?

And because you don't know, does it preclude someone else posting their opinion?

Sorry, but Vassell? He'd be a quality signing. But it WON'T happen. Just like the Benjani 'rumour' (if you can call it that). Crazy.

We might not secure them but we'll be pretty close - I'm pretty confident we can start the season with the squad we've got but we do want a couple more additions - maybe three.

 

Maybe AP can't be certain when a deal for Vassell could go through because Vassell himself was saying that he was hoping to have secured free agency status by tomorrow? Probably putting 2 and 2 together and making 5 but it seems to fit...

It's Friday and Vassell said he hoped to officially be free to sign for someone else from today. I guess his plans will become clear soon, if so! Come on Pards - get it sorted IF we are interested!

I don't think it's totally implausible - certainly more credible than the Benjani stuff.
