Has Cortese said he has not received any correspondence from Nick? Has Cortese offered to talk to Nick to try to sort it out? Has anyone from SFC tried to talk to Nick to sort it out? Has the Echo received and correspondence from SFC about the reasons for their ban?

dont know...neither do you..

It seems to me you are being a bit dramatic with the term 'sued'. The courts aren't going to take his house and life's savings, the bloke is looking for his money back plus costs, so that's £60 and a couple of hundred for costs. The courts will take into account any pre-case conduct and if they think Saintbobby has failed to speak to NI because he wants the case to go to court then the award will be reduced.

To me, legal action is the absolute last resort someone should take if they have exhausted all other avenues. I'm not saying he can't take legal action, just that I would find it extremely sad if he does and it is a symptom of our litigious society today.

Nick advertised this great bar called silverspoons which others had used successfully in the past. Unfortunately it was a shambles. When it happened Nick offered to reply to people who contacted him to try and sort things out. Everyone appeared satisfied (and presumably got a reply) apart from SaintBobby who seems to be threatening legal action (lol).

So NI got his money back and did not want it back and Saint Bobby did not but wants it back.

Well Nick has had no reply from anyone at the club and neither have the Echo so the answer to the last three questions is no. It seems unlikely that Nick would have his season ticket money refunded purely by chance without NC knowing. If we find out in the future that he was not in any way aware of this and that it was a simple error from ticket office staff then I will of course wholeheartedly apologise.

Maybe it is his last resort, if its not then the courts will take that into account. To me 'a symptom of our litigious society' is reserved for people using the legal system to get money they don't deserve, this guy is just trying to get his money back that he gave over in good faith for a service he didn't receive. It's good that our fair society provides a legal recourse for these type of matters where the two parties can not resolve it otherwise. Its only a a process.

But I have already highlighted a number of ways that Nick can be contacted which have not been tried yet so clearly it is not his last resort.

I'm off, but Hypo is trying to over dramatise the legal aspect and using emotive terms like 'against another Saints fan' to belittle SB stance, it's a process that's going on all the time in the small claims court also NI didn't mind ripping other Saints fans off. Besides I fail to see why its any one else's concern if someone feels ****ed of enough to try and get their money back

No I'm not. Also how on earth do you know that NI didn't mind? Do you really think he set the whole thing up for it to go so badly wrong and **** off a bunch of people? Nick has offered to meet the people annoyed and given them details of how he can be contacted so it seems that he does mind that he has ripped people off and that he is trying to rectify the situation.

I do because I spoke to Nick for about an hour on the phone about it amoung other things. I have also spoken to someone within the club who has confirmed it ( not the reasons for it, just that it's happened though ).

That's where I get my information from. Where have you looked to form an opinion other than having your arse up Corteses' backside?

Oh... Nicks lieing now is he. Why would he do that when the club have already threatened various fans and organisations with legal action over petty little things? Would it really be worth it?

Get a grip.

Did you ask him why he speaks on behalf of a fans group with no members?

Yes I did actually. Funny thing is, for all Nicks faults, he will talk to any fan.

I slated him for years on her and he invited me for a pint to discuss a number of issues. Met him for a pint in Romsey about a month ago. Some things he stated satisfied me and some things we agreed to dissagree on. He gave me a reason for the Trusts inactivity over the last year, whilst I don't agree with the Trust, I was satisfied with that explanation. And no, I won't do your dirty work and post any of what was discussed on here.

Funnily enough, some people are grown up enough to talk about it like men over a pint, rather than spouting off behing a PC on a forum ( I'm not talking about you in particular, more people like Dulldays, NickG etc )

Did you "slam a few birds" after necking some pints with Illingsworth?

LMAO

There's nothing "dirty" about about relaying Nicks justification for speaking on behalf of 838 members that don't exist, but I respect your right to keep a private conversation out of the public domain. I suspect his response was not satisfactory because there can be no satisfactory explanation for it.

No, because it wasn't advertised otherwise. If was advertised as "superb entertainment guaranteed with a team of Brazilian world cup stars" then, yes, you'd have had the full might of the Sale of Goods and Services Act and Trades Descriptions Act on your side.

;-)

Walk this league was the quote, suppose that does not represent mis-representation ?

Stu, the person you spoke to at5 the club should be careful talking out of turn to you, who then broadcasts it on here.NC has tightened up any leaking of information to make the club more professional. People who used ot freely give info , are now very nervous to do so.
