Lewis Armit, 28, is a blacksmith from Edinburgh.

Vice: How did you first hear about Stone Island?

Lewis: I was 13 and in Italy on holiday with my family and saw a guy wearing it on a scooter, and Stone Island embedded itself in my brain from then on.

What did you first buy?

Back in 1996, I bought a jacket that I saved my first six weeks’ pay for and loved it like a member of my family.

Why do you like it?

It being the only label to make jackets for eccentric egomaniacs by eccentric egomaniacs.

Why it worth so much money?

Purely for the quality, and after seeing the development on fabrics, you really see the sheer work volume towards a finished piece.

How did you like your trip?

The same way Charlie liked the chocolate factory.

Dune is a poster on the saints forum

When did you first hear about Luke 1977?

I saw Dan Bowers wearing it when he came stumbling out of the pub after being dropped by his record label, then when i saw Alex Reid wearing it on MTV arguing with jordan i realised this is the brand for me

Why do you like it so much?

Its an understated label which is plain and can be worn on the beach, liking a bargain i can pick it up in TK Maxx along with my other favourite labels, Bench, Schott, Trespass and Gola. Obviously with style icons mentioned above it only adds to my street cred

Where do you see the future of this label heading?

As long as TK Maxx are stocking, i am buying, with a bit of luck it'll hit littlewoods or Kays to, so i can pay in installments and spread my payments over 10 years at £2 a week rather than stumping all that cash up front to keep up with my idols.

"Since coming out of administration the new owners have recently decided to scrap the informal consultation system introduced by Rupert Lowe through which the Chairman as the trusts club liaison officer had informal discussions with members of the clubs management team - and has rejected the plan suggested by the trust in regard to the adoption of a continental supporters association model. The trust will be taking measures to try and establish a new formal liaison structure with the club and will establish its own independent policies and strategies necessary to achieve its constitutional objectives.

Sound more like a statement from a Trade Union, just prior to dragging everyone out on strike.....Hopefully NC will put them on their bike and Saints fans will be able to see this shower for what it is

How the hell this bunch can call them selves the "Saints Trust" when they no longer own any shares or have 'any' connection to the Club is beyond me.....If they had anything about them they would have done the right thing and dissolved the organization a week or so after Saints fell into private hands

This.

I was told at the weekend that Nick had his season ticket money returned to him due to his "inappropriate comments".

What ever happened to freedom of speech!

I have heard the same and believe it to be true.

Regardless of my thoughts about the Saints Trust, it will say something about what's happening with our club if they are denying Saints fans season tickets simply because they choose to speak out against them. I just logged into my online account and it seems I am not banned yet though. :-)

The same thing happened under Lowe on the old saints forever forum, if i remember correctly 'Saint Brian' was banned from SMS for his postings on the forum and emails into the club about things he wasn't happy with, this was the first season at St Marys i believe.

If true, then that is an absolute disgrace. Can't believe it is true, as I'm sure much more of a fuss would have been made if so.

Before we swing this thread around from a "lets have a another dig at the trust" to "lets have another dig at NC"

Can we please check if it is indeed true.

I believe it is true. And I certainly wouldn't be sticking up for Nick if I thought otherwise, given the 'differences' me and him have had over the years and my non-liking of all things Saints Trust.

It does come to something when the club are now banning people who dare to speak out against them ( regardless of who they are or what they represent ) .

I wonder if the Echo will be attending the Reading game on Saturday?

Surely this is very worrying and if true something that should concern all Saints fans? Whether you like Nick or not, having your season ticket money returned just for having a moan about the club is just another example of how the club is being closed to the fans. They want as much money as possible from us and nothing else.

I agree but we will have to wait and see if it is true

Personally, I would have returned his season ticket money due to the Saints Aid fiasco, the silverspoons fiasco, and especially the Trusts inactivity during the Lowe era.

Its just a shame that the reason given was "inappropriate comments". If it is true, they should list the actual reasons...

TBH if true (which even if it isn't I know there are other disturbing things that the club have threatened) then the fact it is Nick is irrelevent. You shouldn't ban fans from the ground for voicing an opinion. I don't even like Nick that much but it's not about him.

Seems a little extreme I would have thought I thought Nick was a Saints Fan like you and me and should not be banned if true by the Club or most likely Cortese

no response on his site...even by those who know him...

IF true then that is bad...however, he is bloke who runs a group that falsely represents people and has an agenda with the club....add that to coluding with a known ex 657 to rip off fellow fans at wembley...maybe what goes around comes around in life..

who knows

Surely that's not the point though? Whether you like the individual concerned or not, I would strongly disagree with any Saints fan being banned due to them publicly criticising the club, even all the idiots on here!

It might have helped if you had titled the thread over there a little less hypothetically! 'Has Nick been banned from SMS?' would have seemed a bit more accurate!

So anyone can say anything they like, and not expect any backlash...because they are a saints fan.

Yes. Of course, fans as individuals, regardless of who they are, should be allowed to question the club and its actions. Why not? We are customers, whatever way you look at it and the football club rely on the good feeling from fans, or they will simply turn their back on the club and find another way to spend their Saturday afternoons.

Certainly shouldn't have their season ticket taken back off them just because they express their viewpoint... that is childish and shows yet again a very worrying direction that the club is taking. Funnily enough the direction which I have predicted and been shouted down for on countless occasions.

Amazes me how people can't see through some of the things that are happening at the club.

Connor McClaren, 18, is a Nissan production line worker from Sunderland.

Vice: How did you first hear about Stone Island?

Connor: I remember the first time I saw a Stone Island coat was around 2006-7 at the football. Seeing it week in, week out really got me into it. Then I started buying on eBay.

When did you first buy it? What did you buy?

Think my first bit of Stone Island was around 2007 – a hooded shimmer. I never took it off. Recently, the coats have become a lot harder to get hold of and more expensive on eBay. A lot of my coats are nearly as old as me.

Why do you like it?

It’s unique; Stone Island’s founder, Carlo Rivetti, is a genius. The reflective jackets [below] are unreal!

I think i'll stick with TK Maxx.;)

****, is that SRS?

My point is that you cant say whatever you like and not expect someone to take offence. IF (and we STILL dont know if it is true) NC has sent NI money back, its probably because he is p1ssed off with whatever he said.

In life, you cant just roam around spouting your head off left, right and centre and get away with it.

There is no such thing a freedom of speech, we have all been ****ed off at some point or another due to what someone has said, we have all reacted in different ways.

However, this thread is getting off topic again. We are supposed to discussing the Trusts AGM. Not if NC has banned NI (which is probably not true).

We are discussing something Trust related, the possibility of the Trust chairman having his season ticket taken back off him.

And I am sorry, I massively dissagree. EVERYONE has the right to complain, even the Trust if they so wish... unless the complaint is Chorley-like, then the club are bang out of order if they have reclaimed someones season ticket.

Seriously, are you saying that when I phone my bank up next for charging me too much money, it would be completely acceptable for them to shut my account and tell me to f*ck off?

I honestly can't believe that people can still defend this, honestly, even me with my anti-Trust stance cannot defend the way the club are behaving here... it's yet another "f*ck you" to fans.

Thats the problem mate, he claims he speaks for "the fans". Therfore, his comments (whatever they may have been) would be more hard hitting. We all question the clubs views at some point, but we arent all banned...

I would suggest we need clarification of what was said before we all start hanging effigies of NC from the Itchen.

So, it's all a load of rubbish?

Wow, what a surprise.

Was thinking the same thing. I suppose now people realise they cant pretend to be ITK vis-a-vis transfers, they feel the need to spread unfounded rumours.

Hypo, care to elaborate on the "other disturbing things that the club have threatened"

I know no such thing....people are saying he has been banned or something...the uglies (his site with his mates on) are saying it is a load of crap and pretty much what they would expect the "darkside" to say

Well, I would respond to this post, but i have a special agreement with NC not to talk about Saints over an internet forum. He threatened me with legal action if i did....

See, we can all do it.
