1, NO it will NOT be like watching TWO away teams. Don't be so RIDICULOUS.

2, why on earth do you have to EXAGGERATE every SINGLE sentence with WORDS written in CAPS?[/QUOTE]

You must know, otherwise you would not have done the same

Saints colors are Red & White stripes. White with a red sash is Peru

What a dire afternoon spent on tinternet trying to glean anything of the game in Sutton!

It's pathetic - how many millions worth of talent out there?

Of course all our stars will pick it up come the day the real competition starts - it's that easy!

I'm beginning to struggle to get excited after another friendly...is that we are being friendly?

I hope and pray for a miracle come 12.15 on 7th August against our bitter south coast rivals Plymouth!

They'll be calling us "Scummers" next!

Let's not start that one again. Everyone would hope to have the players in as early as possible, but as AP himself has pointed out it's not as easy as that, getting the right players in can take time and unfortunately we have to play a waiting game for them to become available. We "could" have made many signings by now, but if it means that we subsequently miss out on better signings then I'd much rather wait.

If this is the case how does this situation equate to lasts season's excuse that we didn't have time to get a team together?

Just having a peep at Reading's website I see that they are only using Antonio as a late sub in most games, coming on for one of their established wingers.

I would be going all out to get him back either on loan or as a permanent signing ASAP.

Perhaps they might want to keep him

Perhaps they do.....but I'm sure a reserve player has a price, and not a very big one at that especially when that player is only featuring briefly in warm up games !

Can anyone throw any light at all on why we didn't buy Antonio ?/?????? I thought AP said he liked him at end of last season and he did look mone our better players on many occasions last year and the one most likely to open up defences. This team will be so predictable and will struggle like hell with AP's long ball game........

It might only be a friendly, but why is it that these teams who hardly register on the antenna of English football manage to either draw or beat us in pre-season? There were enough of our first team out there surely to at least have scored more goals than them. Although there was nothing hanging on it, disappointing nonetheless.

Apparently our players are just supposed to suddenly throw a switch in their head at the first whistle at the start of the season and go from playing mediocre sh*t, to devastating league-winning form.

Bizarre.

Yes I tend to agree with you Wes

We were not that good against Farnborough but most were Squad players so I was expecting better
