skintsaint Posted 24 July, 2010 Posted 24 July, 2010 So we are playing with 12? secret tactic for this season
Trader Posted 24 July, 2010 Posted 24 July, 2010 Perhaps the most RIDICULOUS analogy I've yet heard REGARDING our new KIT. ALSO, your SPORADIC use of capital LETTERS makes no SENSE at all. At least he's stopped with all the..............dots.
Thedelldays Posted 24 July, 2010 Posted 24 July, 2010 Say wha? they went to rochdale to get a report from some bloke on a headset....all you could hear was the crowd singing a chant suggesting a female takes it in a dirty place......all the while, the chap was determined to make his report....lol
Matthew Le God Posted 24 July, 2010 Posted 24 July, 2010 When did he go on? For Dickson in the first half.
SaintRichmond Posted 24 July, 2010 Posted 24 July, 2010 1, NO it will NOT be like watching TWO away teams. Don't be so RIDICULOUS. 2, why on earth do you have to EXAGGERATE every SINGLE sentence with WORDS written in CAPS?[/QUOTE] You must know, otherwise you would not have done the same Saints colors are Red & White stripes. White with a red sash is Peru
ericofarabia Posted 24 July, 2010 Posted 24 July, 2010 At least he's stopped with all the..............dots. Nothing wrong with a few dots .... I do it all the time!!
John B Posted 24 July, 2010 Posted 24 July, 2010 we can beat this ****! Is there a Penalty Shoot Out if scores are equal or do we go into Extra Time for The Presidents Cup?
ericofarabia Posted 24 July, 2010 Posted 24 July, 2010 Is there a Penalty Shoot Out if scores are equal or do we go into Extra Time for The Presidents Cup? More like the Pedestrians Cup if the amount of action (or lack of) is anything to go by!!

ericofarabia Posted 24 July, 2010 Posted 24 July, 2010 Sounds like we are saving the best for last, 2 chances in a matter of minutes. Gosh.

ericofarabia Posted 24 July, 2010 Posted 24 July, 2010 President Obama possibly I get that much, but why? Am I missing out on something here.

ericofarabia Posted 24 July, 2010 Posted 24 July, 2010 when did surman sign for norwich..!!!???!!!???!!!??!!! When you were out on your secret mission 2001 leagues below the sea.
ericofarabia Posted 24 July, 2010 Posted 24 July, 2010 And another chance saved by the Sutton keeper, my nails are bitten to the quick.
The Kraken Posted 24 July, 2010 Posted 24 July, 2010 Oxlade-Chamberlain has a powerful shot on target palmed away by the Sutton keeper as Saints enter the last 10 mins strongly

ericofarabia Posted 24 July, 2010 Posted 24 July, 2010 Under 10 minutes now to get the winning goal and our first piece of SilverWare of the season!!
yorkie Posted 24 July, 2010 Posted 24 July, 2010 What a dire afternoon spent on tinternet trying to glean anything of the game in Sutton! It's pathetic - how many millions worth of talent out there? Of course all our stars will pick it up come the day the real competition starts - it's that easy! I'm beginning to struggle to get excited after another friendly...is that we are being friendly? I hope and pray for a miracle come 12.15 on 7th August against our bitter south coast rivals Plymouth! They'll be calling us "Scummers" next!
captainchris Posted 24 July, 2010 Posted 24 July, 2010 Let's not start that one again. Everyone would hope to have the players in as early as possible, but as AP himself has pointed out it's not as easy as that, getting the right players in can take time and unfortunately we have to play a waiting game for them to become available. We "could" have made many signings by now, but if it means that we subsequently miss out on better signings then I'd much rather wait. If this is the case how does this situation equate to lasts season's excuse that we didn't have time to get a team together?
John B Posted 24 July, 2010 Posted 24 July, 2010 FT 1-1. AP out Sash Out NC out A bit under whelming really I suppose
SparkySaint Posted 24 July, 2010 Posted 24 July, 2010 Perhaps the most RIDICULOUS analogy I've yet heard REGARDING our new KIT. ALSO, your SPORADIC use of capital LETTERS makes no SENSE at all. So your saying two teams play in football matches? Whatever next
beatlesaint Posted 24 July, 2010 Posted 24 July, 2010 Just having a peep at Reading's website I see that they are only using Antonio as a late sub in most games, coming on for one of their established wingers. I would be going all out to get him back either on loan or as a permanent signing ASAP.

alpine_saint Posted 24 July, 2010 Posted 24 July, 2010 Wow, 1-1 to the almighty Sutton Utd. We will walk this league....
Matthew Le God Posted 24 July, 2010 Posted 24 July, 2010 Wow, 1-1 to the almighty Sutton Utd. We will walk this league.... Every year people confuse pre season friendly results with something that matters.
beatlesaint Posted 24 July, 2010 Posted 24 July, 2010 Perhaps they might want to keep him Perhaps they do.....but I'm sure a reserve player has a price, and not a very big one at that especially when that player is only featuring briefly in warm up games !
captainchris Posted 24 July, 2010 Posted 24 July, 2010 Wow, 1-1 to the almighty Sutton Utd. We will walk this league.... This result is surely no surprise........
John B Posted 24 July, 2010 Posted 24 July, 2010 Perhaps they do.....but I'm sure a reserve player has a price, and not a very big one at that especially when that player is only featuring briefly in warm up games ! He started in the First Warm up Game
ericofarabia Posted 24 July, 2010 Posted 24 July, 2010 Wow, 1-1 to the almighty Sutton Utd. We will walk this league.... Trouble is we don't play in The Isthmian league!!
John B Posted 24 July, 2010 Posted 24 July, 2010 Every year people confuse pre season friendly results with something that matters. Every year we have poor pre season results followed by poor Legue Results
captainchris Posted 24 July, 2010 Posted 24 July, 2010 Perhaps they do.....but I'm sure a reserve player has a price, and not a very big one at that especially when that player is only featuring briefly in warm up games ! Can anyone throw any light at all on why we didn't buy Antonio ?/?????? I thought AP said he liked him at end of last season and he did look mone our better players on many occasions last year and the one most likely to open up defences. This team will be so predictable and will struggle like hell with AP's long ball game........
alpine_saint Posted 24 July, 2010 Posted 24 July, 2010 Every year we have poor pre season results followed by poor Legue Results Yep. This team is maintaining a fine tradition.... Really done a good job of setting our stall out early.
Wes Tender Posted 24 July, 2010 Posted 24 July, 2010 It might only be a friendly, but why is it that these teams who hardly register on the antenna of English football manage to either draw or beat us in pre-season? There were enough of our first team out there surely to at least have scored more goals than them. Although there was nothing hanging on it, disappointing nonetheless.

Apparently our players are just supposed to suddenly throw a switch in their head at the first whistle at the start of the season and go from playing mediocre sh*t, to devastating league-winning form. Bizarre.

Yes I tend to agree with you Wes We were not that good against Farnborough but most were Squad players so I was expecting better
