Dave Benson Phillips Posted 22 July, 2010 Posted 22 July, 2010 Have a little bit of a parody written up, mate has his own studio so looking to record it over the next couple if weeks. Does anyone know of an Alicia Keys type vocalist who would be up for pwning the skates with an amazing ( written by me ) parody? We have tried it with male vocals and it doesn't sound right. Thanks. x
RedAndWhite91 Posted 22 July, 2010 Posted 22 July, 2010 You do have far too much time on your hands Stu.
Kadeem Hardison Posted 22 July, 2010 Posted 22 July, 2010 I've never seen Stu and Chris Moyles in the same room at the same time.

Turkish Posted 22 July, 2010 Posted 22 July, 2010 Why don't you use one of your many girlfriends? He'd have been dumped by the time of the recording.
Colinjb Posted 22 July, 2010 Posted 22 July, 2010 A song for stuey. Incidentally, I know a vocalist who does rave music vocals. She would probably want paying mind.
Nexstar Posted 22 July, 2010 Posted 22 July, 2010 Surely it should be Empire Skate of Mind, as Alicia Keys has never sung a song called Empire of the State?
Robsk II Posted 22 July, 2010 Posted 22 July, 2010 Stu, you are actually a bit weird. Seriously. It's fun to take the **** out of you; I generally assume you're far more normal and less of a c*nt than it seems... but sometimes I see glimpses of something equally bizarre and tragic through your cyber=veil of ****e.

Dave Benson Phillips Posted 22 July, 2010 Author Posted 22 July, 2010 (edited) Stu, you are actually a bit weird. Seriously. You have ginger hair. I think that says enough. And what exactly is weird about recording a ****-take parody song? Are you jealous you didn't think of it ginge? Dave Benson Phillips Posted 22 July, 2010 Author Posted 22 July, 2010 Surely it should be Empire Skate of Mind, as Alicia Keys has never sung a song called Empire of the State? Fair enough, we will call it that, doesn't bother me.
Saint_clark Posted 22 July, 2010 Posted 22 July, 2010 Better off contacting the music departments of local colleges/schools and asking for decent vocalists.
for_heaven's_Saint Posted 22 July, 2010 Posted 22 July, 2010 You better make sure it doesn't have any offensive lyrics- didn't the bloke who did the Robbie Williams song get done?
Dave Benson Phillips Posted 23 July, 2010 Author Posted 23 July, 2010 You better make sure it doesn't have any offensive lyrics- didn't the bloke who did the Robbie Williams song get done? It has lots of them, including 2 lines referring to W******d as a child sex offender. I may post the lyrics up later.
Dave Benson Phillips Posted 23 July, 2010 Author Posted 23 July, 2010 It's ok, we now have the female vocalist, and very good she is too...
Gemmel Posted 23 July, 2010 Posted 23 July, 2010 You better make sure it doesn't have any offensive lyrics- didn't the bloke who did the Robbie Williams song get done? Indeed he did. He was arrested for "causing Racial Tension" due to the lyric refering to mm and why he bought them. They even bought the dogs round when they arrested him at his home.:o:o
Jez Posted 23 July, 2010 Posted 23 July, 2010 Does anyone know of an Alicia Keys type vocalist who would be up for pwning the skates with an amazing ( written by me ) parody? Have you asked Alicia Keys?
Dave Benson Phillips Posted 23 July, 2010 Author Posted 23 July, 2010 Have you asked Alicia Keys? Yes, she is busy.
Saint Stimp Posted 23 July, 2010 Posted 23 July, 2010 Surely it should be called Empire Skate of Mind?
Robsk II Posted 23 July, 2010 Posted 23 July, 2010 Also, Stu hates all ethnic minorities and people from other countries working here. Coming over here, taking our jobs, etc. Yawn.
Dave Benson Phillips Posted 23 July, 2010 Author Posted 23 July, 2010 Also, Stu hates all ethnic minorities and people from other countries working here. Coming over here, taking our jobs, etc. Yawn. Yes, I will make a song about that too one day. And one about gingers.
Dave Benson Phillips Posted 23 July, 2010 Author Posted 23 July, 2010 I want to see lyrics. One day soon, one day soon... will be putting them into song this weekend, to make sure they fit.
Dave Benson Phillips Posted 23 July, 2010 Author Posted 23 July, 2010 Is someone going to be rapping?! No, it is the Alicia Keys Part 2 cover. Although we might end up doing part 1 as well, with wapping.
Golden Balls Posted 23 July, 2010 Posted 23 July, 2010 Indeed he did. He was arrested for "causing Racial Tension" due to the lyric refering to mm and why he bought them. They even bought the dogs round when they arrested him at his home.:o:o Is this true or you taking the ****? It was Martin Murphy I believe
