Dimitri Mascarenhas and vice-captain, Nic Pothas have both been ruled out for the rest of the 2010 season through injury

Dimi's only played one game all year so isn't a massive loss in the sense that we've done reasonably without him anyway. Pothas is a loss mainly because of his contribution with the bat, I'm led to believe Matthew Bates is a better keeper.

 

Cements Cork's captaincy for the rest of the year, anyway, which is a good thing IMO.

Michael Bates was with England Under 19's but called back and now withdrawn. So who did England pick to take his place - Adam Rouse another up and coming Hampshire Academy Wicket Keeper who made his debut for England yesterday.

I have been a big fan of both Dimi and Pothas but we seem to be doign OK now so fingers crossed for the rest of the season!
