SaintMilesie Posted 21 July, 2010 Posted 21 July, 2010 1506 Tickets on sale from next Monday and apparently on general sale straight away. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/TicketNews/0,,10280~2097250,00.html Here we go again, any advice for pub etc ?
Evil Monkey Posted 21 July, 2010 Posted 21 July, 2010 Shame that this clashes with T20 day at the Rosey. If Hampshire get there i'll have a tough choice to make. Bit suprised if it goes straight to general sale though.
Sour Mash Posted 21 July, 2010 Posted 21 July, 2010 Shame that this clashes with T20 day at the Rosey. If Hampshire get there i'll have a tough choice to make. Bit suprised if it goes straight to general sale though. Guess it's gone straight to general sale as they know there'll be plenty more available after the initial 1.5k, so anyone who wants one shouldn't have a problem getting one. With regards to pubs, there are a fair few decent ones in Fenny Stratford, 20+ minutes walk from the ground, 5 mins drive (depending on traffic).
jjsaint Posted 21 July, 2010 Posted 21 July, 2010 Worst atmosphere of all time. Still, I'll probably go since MK isn't very far for me. All pubs in MK are crap, IMO but Sour Mash is right - Fenny Stratford is probably the best bet within reach of the stadium.
Sour Mash Posted 21 July, 2010 Posted 21 July, 2010 £23 is a bit steep for league one as well in my opinion, anything over£20 is. Guess the same at St Marys.
Lets B Avenue Posted 21 July, 2010 Posted 21 July, 2010 Shame that this clashes with T20 day at the Rosey. If Hampshire get there i'll have a tough choice to make. As I went twice last season, I was glad it was this game or the T20 finals day. I'll wait to see if Hants win the Q/f next Monday before choosing which ticket to buy for the 14th.
Andy_Porter Posted 21 July, 2010 Posted 21 July, 2010 Shame that this clashes with T20 day at the Rosey. If Hampshire get there i'll have a tough choice to make. Bit suprised if it goes straight to general sale though. If you go to watch the cricket rather than the football then you are never coming to any football game with me again. I didn't think my opinion of you could get any lower.
bungle Posted 21 July, 2010 Posted 21 July, 2010 Already got the train tickets, so suppose I best get some tickets for the match as well!
Michelle Posted 22 July, 2010 Posted 22 July, 2010 £23 is a bit steep for league one as well in my opinion, anything over£20 is. Guess the same at St Marys. Was told today that apparently Charlton v Bournemouth away tickets are £25. Good ol' Charlton. I shall be working on the 14th. Meh.
Wilko Posted 22 July, 2010 Posted 22 July, 2010 Let's celebrate the first away day with a few real ales.
AndyNorthernSaints Posted 23 July, 2010 Posted 23 July, 2010 Let's celebrate the first away day with a few real ales. Where?
Wilko Posted 25 July, 2010 Posted 25 July, 2010 Where? Good question. I'm sure somebody is working on an answer.
gjphilsaint Posted 26 July, 2010 Posted 26 July, 2010 I have bought my ticket.... so the season of expectation begins!!!
Sour Mash Posted 26 July, 2010 Posted 26 July, 2010 Where? The Red Lion in Fenny Stratford is probably your best bet, fair few other pubs around it as well if you want to do a bit of a "crawl".
jjsaint Posted 26 July, 2010 Posted 26 July, 2010 Never been to the Red Lion but I understand it is good for real ales.
RonManager Posted 26 July, 2010 Author Posted 26 July, 2010 Better to get train to Bletchley or MK? Bletchley - 25 minute walk to the ground.
Dave Benson Phillips Posted 29 July, 2010 Posted 29 July, 2010 Can you get Group Saver on the train? Looking on Trainline it comes up at £40 each? Is that without group save?
RedArmy Posted 29 July, 2010 Posted 29 July, 2010 Can you get Group Saver on the train? Looking on Trainline it comes up at £40 each? Is that without group save?Add the groupsave 4 on the railcards option. Makes it just under £80.
Dave Benson Phillips Posted 30 July, 2010 Posted 30 July, 2010 Add the groupsave 4 on the railcards option. Makes it just under £80. Sweet. And goes through London as well. Sweet sweet.
SaintMilesie Posted 3 August, 2010 Posted 3 August, 2010 Better to get train to Bletchley or MK? Just had a look at the trains and it is an easy route Soton-Clapham, then Clapham-Bletchley think we will go for the 9am from town.:
Master Bates Posted 3 August, 2010 Posted 3 August, 2010 Just had a look at the trains and it is an easy route Soton-Clapham, then Clapham-Bletchley think we will go for the 9am from town.: Are you Chris?
Andy_Porter Posted 3 August, 2010 Posted 3 August, 2010 Making a weekend of it. Should be a good game, hopefully we can beat them for a 5th time in a year.
Master Bates Posted 10 August, 2010 Posted 10 August, 2010 Yes mate Reeeeeeee, thought it was. If I could pm you I would. Guess you're still working down Skatesville, must feel different with Ann gone.
Andy_Porter Posted 11 August, 2010 Posted 11 August, 2010 Any idea how many we've sold for this? No news on a second allocation so I assume it will be a fairly low turnout which is a bit of a shock after the last two trips.
SaintMilesie Posted 12 August, 2010 Posted 12 August, 2010 Reeeeeeee, thought it was. If I could pm you I would. Guess you're still working down Skatesville, must feel different with Ann gone. Who this ?
bungle Posted 12 August, 2010 Posted 12 August, 2010 I've got advanced train tickets. Assume Ron is in same boat, probably some others. Might have day out in London.
dickyhale Posted 12 August, 2010 Posted 12 August, 2010 Games postponed I've got advanced train tickets. Assume Ron is in same boat, probably some others. Might have day out in London. Games postponed tho
RonManager Posted 12 August, 2010 Author Posted 12 August, 2010 I've got advanced train tickets. Assume Ron is in same boat, probably some others. Might have day out in London. No, couldn't make this one this weekend, but may be able to whenever its rearranged.
Dr Who? Posted 13 August, 2010 Posted 13 August, 2010 The offical website is and always has been rubbish for finding out ticket details for away games. Has the MK game sold out or not? I can go now as it is in mid week and just down the road...... but are there tickets left and where can I find a link online to buy them.
Appy Posted 16 August, 2010 Posted 16 August, 2010 Can't go now with the new date. In Gran Canaria. Not all too bothered went twice last year and the atmosphere is terrible.
bungle Posted 16 August, 2010 Posted 16 August, 2010 No, couldn't make this one this weekend, but may be able to whenever its rearranged. Are you going on the 15th Sept?
RonManager Posted 16 August, 2010 Author Posted 16 August, 2010 Are you going on the 15th Sept? Unsure at the mo, depends on work. I'll go if I can.
Dr Who? Posted 29 August, 2010 Posted 29 August, 2010 have made up my mind that I want to go to this one now. Does anyone know if there are still tickets?
Dog Posted 5 September, 2010 Posted 5 September, 2010 Pay on the gate, or get up there early and visit the ticket office, they always have tickets.
bungle Posted 5 September, 2010 Posted 5 September, 2010 Any advance? Am thinking of going but going to struggle with getting off work in time to get a train up.
