We are stonger. This league is weaker. Most of the team are familiar with each other and have no need to 'gel'.

 

I predict more than 83 points and automatic promotion.

After earning 83 points last season with a squad that only properly took shape after the January transfer window, I'd be disappointed if Saints only got in the 80's again in 2010/11.

 

I think it will be a very tight promotion race. I can see Huddersfield joining us in the 80s as well.

Huddersfield i doubt will be up there, playoffs perhaps, i really don't think you lot will have anywhere near the season you believe, even after the disasterous season you had last year, so not only does Irvine have to remove the bad taste from the relegation but also get the new guys to try and gel in.

 

It won't be easy, but i think you will get promoted one way or another, its an easier league than last year, no one that came down is of the same quality of Leeds and Norwich, plus Swindon and Charlton have been weakened so all in all its an easier league this year.

so if the last 39 games next season match the last 39 last season that gives us 78, so all we need is 10 points from first 7 games instead of the 5 we got last year and we are there! Easy!

Will depend a lot on not having long term injuries to key players etc. I would take promotion at the end of the day - don't really care about the points total.

Over 100 points & 100 goals is a 33/1 shot with Betfair - well worth a punt in my opinion.
