Bart or Forecast to Watford on loan?

Watford are in need of a keeper on loan and I wondered if we might consider offering them one of ours or are they a potential relegation rival?

Will be if they have Bart

LOL – I saw the highlights of the Rotherham game recently and noticed Bart was in goal and, once again, his positioning looked very poor and shady for the goal (was it the final goal) where he had a hissy fit. Must admit, did chuckle (and thought “typical Bart”) when he was caught totally off guard and frantically waving both arms above his head as he stamped up and down like a petulant kid who had had his ball taken away. I didn’t see the entire match so I’m not well placed to comment (i.e. didn’t see the defending) but 3 goals conceded isn’t good whichever way you look at it.

I have given Kelvin a hard time in the past but I go back on my words and I now much prefer Davis over Bart (despite some saying Bart hasn’t had a chance but, to be fair, he’s looked weak 95% of the time he’s played). In fact, Davis has been excellent this term and I thank him for his efforts (long may it continue). I hope we hang onto him this season as every glimpse or flicker of hope quickly gets extinguished at this club! January will be a worrying time with the vultures circling the proverbial Saints carcass.

A very good goalkeeper and glad we still have him at Saints. You are not going to get anyone better around the leagues even if we had a little money.

Stick with this guy he will get even better as the season wears on.

Plus he is our goalie others would love to have him.

My coaching of Hammond is not up to speed yet and he will not be ready til next season so Kelvin stick at it.

It's a non-starter as there is no advantage in it for us.

I might have missed this, but why was Forecast on the bench on Saturday? Bart injured, or dropped after Rotherham?

Dropped of course, Apparently he was absolute sh!ite last Tuesday, lost the game all by himself.

He was very poor. Completely flapped at the ball for the first goal, caught off his line for second and caused chaos for the 3rd by rushing out to claim it and then stopping leaving a simple square pass and tap in for the opposition. Not saying its all his fault but he certainly gives the defence no confidence (which is something that Davis is crucified week in week out for allegedly). He's still young but if we have to rely on him anytime soon then we'll be in serious trouble. Loan him out to Watford for some much needed match experience i say. If he plays a blinder then it'll improve his confidence no end and if he's terrible then at least he'll be costing a rival important points.

its amazing how a change of club can change things. Richard Wright was poor at WHU came to us and was very good he goes and joins Ipswich and he has made a series of howlers.

Golakeeping is a real up and downer.

My young cousin, who lives in Bradford (or thereabouts), was not as generous as yourself DannyBoy. He told me Bart lost the match single handed.

Bart hasn't played well for us this season or last season but when he first came into the team he was fantastic. Seriously maybe a loan move could help him get his confidence back.

Sorry, who are you talking about here?

wow what happened to Bart then? i watched him a few years back and he seemed quality, i blame Malcolm Webster and his casual warm ups before the games. Bart has good potential, we have seen it he just needs some confidence.

Im not sure Bart has had good potential but from the scores when he has played recently it has made me wonder maybe a loan will do him good if he can recapture his form i can remember thinking a great goalie in the making!

could save ourselves a few bob in wages and if we have ****ed up and signed a keeper we don't really need (perhaps because the Davis sale fell through) this would be a good way to advertise him and perhaps move him quickly on.
