Pah :x

The one day I didn't set my alarm for 0225 am Dubai time to get up and see if there is a 1125 PM Uk time Echo defeating News Flash on The OS and Lo and Behold the new away kit is revealed :?

On Saints Player it looks blue rather than black, must be the lighting I guess. Why oh why do they have to have all the arty farty camera angles, why can't they just have a bog standard view from the front back and side from head height rather than up the players trouser leg with the camera man rolling about on the floor or swinging on ther chandeliers for a view from above

Don't like it. Why can't we have a yellow away kit every season? England have a red away kit because we won the world cup in it, we should have a yellow one for obvious reasons.

so we can sing "it's just like watching Brazil"?

Not all that keen from the picture, but it's obviously been photoshopped to high heaven so I'll wait until I actually see the shirt before making a decision on it.

Not a patch on the home kit, looks very dull and too much like a training kit. Still it'll probably grow on me. I was going to hold out for the away kit before buying the home, glad I bought the home.

I like................more importantly Morgan is still a saint!!

At last! Someone else noticed that! Can't be anything other than good news surely?

I do like the shirt though it is very generic.

Not a patch on the home though as that shirt is 100% bespoke for saints rather than a standard template used by many clubs.

Love it. I think a black looks the business to do some business - it's a mans kit. And the shadow stripes are a nice touch that will look fantastic up close. I think the choice of styling for the home and away shirts has been top drawer. Big thanks to Markus and Nicola for allowing no sponsor name - a nice 125th birthday present to us all.

Pretty disappointed.

I was expecting a yellow/blue or old-gold/black version of the home kit.

Will look good with jeans, but is not very stand-outish and looks like a training kit.

Richardson has been spliced into the pic by photoshop, thats why he looks out of proportion.

Interestingly, in SaintsPalyer Harding is the man on the left-hand side of Morgan who has since been cut out!

Can't believe they've made it with what seems to be a round neck collar. Boo

Now IF it had the England style mock polo collar could have worn that on the golf course and justified getting Home & Away, but now it will be one or the other in the Mega Store Monday

Yeah, and look how well England did wearing red this summer!

I don't believe in superstitions anyway, but we have to drop this obsession with '76 or we'll never move forward (ditto England and '66!). We'll be back in red & white stripes and yellow and blue away next year I'm sure. In the meantime, enjoy the new regime, enjoy our anniversary year, and enjoy us winning the League One title...

Ps everyone always ignores the fact that we lost two finals in yellow and blue too!

Now you're talking ! (Except of course our traditional away colour was 'amber' not old gold but thats splitting hairs).

Does it come with a whistle or flag?

No, but don't worry I expect they will release an SFC Thomas the Tank Engine set in the run up to Christmas.

Not a fan of black kits. I would have liked a yellow shirt with blue shorts and yellow socks.

Oh well, if that's the only thing I have to moan about regarding Saints then I'll be a happy man :)

The logical reverse of that observation being that one of our top stars was not in either home or away kit photoshoot....

*cough* Lallana *cough*

So the rumour deleted by the mods for potentially being highly libelous may be true...

Is there a 3rd kit? It wont be much fun playing away in the heat with that kit.

Why? Wearing black or white or any other colour makes no difference to body temperature. It is a myth that has no supporting scientific credible evidence.

Do you think Bedouin tribes would have lived for thousands of years in hot deserts wearing black and herding black goats if black made you hot?

Watch the video of the home kit photo shoot, Lallana is there but they obviously just chose a pic that didn't include him.

Much like how Harding was in the photo shoot for the away kit, but they didn't use a pic with him in either.
