The club are too smart for us fans.

Our new striker will not be Allidiare (whatever the name)

The next midfielder will not be Stock.

Nor will it be Shelvey or Lines, or Caldwell.

I reckon we won't even have a sniff of Hendrie.

Lets face it, Cortese and Pardew will **** on the Echo and the gossips.

Good on them.

PS Michael Owen hahaaaaaa don't make me larf.

I understand your point, but that's not to say we won't be signing someone that's being touted on here - the HCDAJFU list alone would rule us out of pretty much every transfer going! Pardew could sign someone that has been mentioned on here, but it won't be through ITKers, it'll through sheer guess work that his name were mentioned.

Had someone said Richardson on the HCDAJFU list this summer, and not two years ago like I did, I doubt the plug would've been pulled. Stock may very well be the next signing, but given Pardew's signing record since joining, I don't doubt him in the slightest to pull the rabbit from the hat and bring in some we could only dream about...

Cortese is doing exactly what he said he'd do

Good business

Good signings

No fuss

No leaks

NICE :adore:

I agree. Tough executive, but all for the Club and our success. This Club has sporting professionalism written all over it now. Protecting the players and management by NC is a very good sign for the future in my opinion.

I dont really see what that not knowing who is going to be signed shows anything about professionalism lots of clubs sign players without their fans knowing about them.

No doubt in the Past it happened too

We knew about Puncheon Dickson and there was a lot in the Press about Bailey and Calderon

I think the reality is that we won't know anything is completed until it's actually done. Some of the names speculated may still be true but we won't get the rumours such as a player "is at the round and about to sign" any more. Despite my impatience, that's fine with me if they keep delivering quality signings!

What the hell are you on about? This makes about as much sense as David Cameron

He looks nothing like Nadal.

Which makes sense, given the mens' final is on Sunday.

I agree though, that definitely wasn't Heskey on Saturday. Looked far more like Mike Tyson.

Wrong again - Caster Semenya.

Love the Echo headlines - Will Pardew splash the cash - followed by Saints sign Frazer Richardson - LOL

Stopped buying the Echo many months ago but still used look at their web site quite regularly for any meaningful information. I've even stopped doing that in the last couple of months as I realised that information now being given out is already old news or pure conjecture.
