Ponty Posted 6 July, 2010 Posted 6 July, 2010 I worked on and delivered the new air handling units for Oxford's ice rink, if that's any good to you.

Thedelldays Posted 6 July, 2010 Posted 6 July, 2010 I once took a dump in the loos in the northam.... hope this is of some help
Ponty Posted 6 July, 2010 Posted 6 July, 2010 It was a good few years ago now. I believe it was closed down at the time and was about to get a grand reopening. I did my CBT u-turns at the Kassam Stadium, but I'm pretty sure that doesn't count at all.

landford.saint Posted 6 July, 2010 Posted 6 July, 2010 Did delivery job once. Had a pick up at Salisbury' ground. Met Nick Holmes in corridor. Not a proper league club I know but better than doing cr@p at Northam I guess.
Johnny Bognor Posted 6 July, 2010 Posted 6 July, 2010 Not worked at the grounds, but have worked with/for Saints, Ipswich, Skates, Premier League and 442 Magazine in the past. Currently working with UK Sport for the Olympics.
BadgerBadger Posted 6 July, 2010 Posted 6 July, 2010 I once delivered a cooker to Richard Madeleys mum
Doctoroncall Posted 6 July, 2010 Posted 6 July, 2010 Nearly ran over Brucie when working at Wentworth. The older bugger had a bit more zip in him than I thought. Fortunately, the top of the golf buggy was up so he couldn't recognise me.
trousers Posted 6 July, 2010 Posted 6 July, 2010 I believe there used to be a chap that posted on here a couple of years back who used to sell photocopiers to SFC. A life long Saints fan, so i'm told.

$$$ Posted 7 July, 2010 Posted 7 July, 2010 Not worked at the grounds, but have worked with/for Saints, Ipswich, Skates, Premier League and 442 Magazine in the past. Currently working with UK Sport for the Olympics. Scum The state can't afford people like you anymore. The Olympics will bankrupt this country. You should instead be working 16 hours a day in a corner shop and ho'ing yourself on street corners the rest of the time...
Mr Tickle Posted 7 July, 2010 Posted 7 July, 2010 I was paid a substantial amount of money to build the fourth stand at the Kassam stadium (Oxford United.) Instead I pocketed the cash and left the country. I am now a fugitive in Shanklin.

I reckon I would make more money ho'ing myselft on street corners and at least I would get paid.
dellboypete Posted 7 July, 2010 Posted 7 July, 2010 I'm building an irrigation control panel for Wolverhampton Wanderers new fibrelastic pitch at Molineux. Its at an early stage at the moment but once some parts get delivered then i'll be able to get it built. I was just wondering if anyone else had done work at St Mary's or had worked at any other grounds around the country? just wondering if you could elaborate on what a fibrelastic pitch is - sounds synthetic - whats the need for a fancy irrigation system?
warsash saint Posted 7 July, 2010 Posted 7 July, 2010 I went on a training course at Dean Court Me to....bumped into Darren Anderton in reception.
Durleyfos Posted 7 July, 2010 Posted 7 July, 2010 I was stood in the reception at SMS one lunchtime (wearing a suit and tie) and Andrew Surman came up to me and said "Excuse me mate, can you tell me where the buffet is". Quite random.
ericofarabia Posted 7 July, 2010 Posted 7 July, 2010 Me to....bumped into Darren Anderton in reception. How many weeks off injured did ol sicknote take after that !!!

Doctoroncall Posted 7 July, 2010 Posted 7 July, 2010 just wondering if you could elaborate on what a fibrelastic pitch is - sounds synthetic - whats the need for a fancy irrigation system? From my days of playing hockey, there are two sorts of 'plastic' pitch the base is on - sand or water. Water is far better as it doesn't shred the skin!

dubai_phil Posted 10 July, 2010 Posted 10 July, 2010 Hmm Saints fan working on laying a new pitch for another team... So just remember to dig out an old Saints shirt and bury it under the centre circle
Marsdinho Posted 11 July, 2010 Posted 11 July, 2010 I onced worked for an angency that supplied trades to SMS when it was being built. Quite often i would go into the half built stadium and sit and have my lunch in the northam.
jasonb Posted 12 July, 2010 Posted 12 July, 2010 I live very close to Man City and they are having this kind of pitch done this summer too.
St_Tel49 Posted 12 July, 2010 Posted 12 July, 2010 I once took a dump in the loos in the northam.... hope this is of some help Another post lost to posterity
smithy Posted 16 July, 2010 Posted 16 July, 2010 I used to regularly get p!ssed with Andy Gray, the Saints groundsman. Top bloke!
