Hatch Posted 6 July, 2010 Posted 6 July, 2010 Should have been invented by now. http://jasonfischer.livejournal.com/285061.html
Turkish Posted 6 July, 2010 Posted 6 July, 2010 it would make sense as they went back to 1955 in BTTF3 so back 30 years and forward 30 years. Eitherway, you'd have thought they'd at least have a prototype launched by now. This is outrageous lack of invention from so-called scientists.
skintsaint Posted 6 July, 2010 Posted 6 July, 2010 i thought they did invent flying skateboards that worked on magnets with underground pipes? or was that a dream.!?

The Brain Cavity is very spacious in this specimen Doc!
Dimond Geezer Posted 6 July, 2010 Posted 6 July, 2010 i thought they did invent flying skateboards that worked on magnets with underground pipes? or was that a dream.!? Two flaws in this, firstly the magnetised board would be attracted towards the steel pipes, therefore clamping the board to the ground, secondly, metal (cast Iron) are seldom used anymore, most pipes are either plastic or vitrified clay, therefore not at all magnetic. You must've been dreaming.
Jones91 Posted 7 July, 2010 Posted 7 July, 2010 I'm waiting for abdul to invent the flying carpet first
100%Red&White Posted 7 July, 2010 Posted 7 July, 2010 Skate Boards - Flying Squad has a particularly nice ring to it.
SNSUN Posted 7 July, 2010 Posted 7 July, 2010 I also had the magnet dream - when remaking roads, a metallic element is added and, with my extremely limited knowledge of magnets, the metal in the roads and the metal in the hoverboard somehow repelled one another, allowing it to float. It was then powered by a fan. Funny what the subconcious comes up with. And yes, it was 2015, and Lea Thompson would still get it.
