Returning Players Home-Coming Reception

Couldn't help but notice how the Argentine welcomed their boys back like heroes. Also at the LA Galaxy's match yesterday the crowd paid huge homage to Landon Donovan and even Edson Buddle, who is a good player but hardly played. Even the away Seattle fans cheered for both as well (before the match).

How will the fans in England generally recieve Lamps, Cashley, Heskey, Green etc???

With the derision that lot of overpaid prima-donnas deserve.

I hope they all watched Gazza's Tears programme on Sunday night and suddenly realised what playing with pride and passion for your country actually means !

It's all about the relevant country's expectation, TT.

Argentina may seem to buck that trend but they had a torrid time in qualification so, on paper at least, they've actually made a good show of things.

to be honest, the lot of them can go fuk themselves...I really am at odds with my enthusiasm for that lot...

complaining they are bored is just the tip of the iceberg....I also read that the England players declined an offer for a tour of Robben Island...the thick ****s probably thought it was a bird sanctuary

That's not fair, they probably wondered why they were being taken to an Island named after a Dutch player

Evening Tim,

Funniliy enough Cashley could have come back with his head held high, as he had a pretty decent World cup. Then he got caught with the old text messsages again, saying he hated England and alll the people in it !!

Green is going to get some stick and will have to start strongly as fans will shread his confidence if he makes any mistakes ( I predict loss of form by Christmas and on the bench soon after)

Any stick Rooney gets will be drowned out by Utd fans singing "You can stick you ****ing ENgland up your arse"

And I'm not sure the others will give a **** anyway.

Our players are a thoroughly dislikable bunch of thick, McIdiots.

The only one I like is James, and he's a skate FFS. He's also gash, which is a shame.

Actually, I like Crouch too. And Theo is clearly a nice lad with decent parents. Most of them are scum though.
