Scudamore Posted 5 July, 2010 Posted 5 July, 2010 Huzzah! Etc. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment_and_arts/10507286.stm
Pancake Posted 5 July, 2010 Posted 5 July, 2010 Or, never actually under threat at all as all decisions needed to be ratified by the Trust anyway so all it was was a load of d-list slebs on twitter wetting themselves and following the trend?
fish fingers Posted 5 July, 2010 Posted 5 July, 2010 Good news, lots more funk and soul from Craig Charles ahead
Scudamore Posted 5 July, 2010 Author Posted 5 July, 2010 Well it obviously was fairly under threat...
Scudamore Posted 5 July, 2010 Author Posted 5 July, 2010 BBC needs to trim some fat somewhere Chris Moyles?
EastleighSoulBoy Posted 5 July, 2010 Posted 5 July, 2010 Chris Moyles? He's now called Dave Benson Phillips
Block 5 Posted 5 July, 2010 Posted 5 July, 2010 Good news, lots more crack cocaine and rape from Craig Charles ahead Allegedly.
teamsaint Posted 5 July, 2010 Posted 5 July, 2010 pity its not on FM so all licence payers can listen...........
SuperMikey Posted 5 July, 2010 Posted 5 July, 2010 BBC 6 Music is a radio station that actually plays decent music as opposed to what's in the charts ala Radio 1 and 2. Has also been the birthplace of many fine radio shows, such as my particular favourite, the Russell Brand show.
hypochondriac Posted 5 July, 2010 Posted 5 July, 2010 Russell Brand is a massive tw*t. Never really listen to radio but if that's what is on 6 music then it should have been closed ages ago.
Thedelldays Posted 6 July, 2010 Posted 6 July, 2010 6 music sounds crap...one of those "trendy" channels that has now attracted loads of idiots that will now listen to it..as a result, it will become more mainstream and "uncool"
Block 5 Posted 6 July, 2010 Posted 6 July, 2010 Plays good music though. He certainly does. I love his show. And I have a soft spot for CC too.
fish fingers Posted 13 July, 2010 Posted 13 July, 2010 Like what have a listen http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b0072ky7
Spudders Posted 13 July, 2010 Posted 13 July, 2010 pity its not on FM so all licence payers can listen........... This was one of my suggestions when completing the BBC trust questionnaire giving my feedback. Now they have decided to keep it they may actually extend its coverage. I currently listen to it via Sky, but would be good to get it in the car as well.
