Beat me to it, noticed these today when I went to get Reading and Bournemouth tickets.

Parking meters/card readers?

This is surely a sign, the box is levitating!!

Yes, that's an obvious one to be fair, stops football traffic etc using it as a free car park. But no supermarket or any business with their own parking facilities charge you to come and spend money in their business!

Another strange move by the club imo.

What about hotels?? I`ve stayed in a number of hotels where they charge £15 per night for parking in their car park. In fact I am staying in one in Cardiff this week-end and that is the cost. The hotels in Cardiff up their prices and milk their customers when there is something on at The Millenium Stadium (British Speedway GP this week) but they are always full. Supply and demand I guess.

Hotels are different, parking is an add-on to an overnight stay, the same way that luggage is an add-on to a ryanair flight, or breakfast in the morning is in a hotel. They wouldn't charge you £15 if you were popping in there to book a hotel for another night.

Wont they be making money from people parking there for other reasons? Non football related reasons I mean?

i thought council staff used the car park during the week as part of the planning application when sms was bought

Not sure if it was for planning, but there was SCC parking in the North Car Park, yes. I assume new company means no need to honour that agreement?

The machines are currently covered in cardboard but it said they were made by Zeag (a Swiss company) and the model was Orion XR http://www.zeag.ch/ (Very similar to the picture but I hope they do them in Red instead of the Blue, otherwise Stu will be really upset).

The packaging said 1 of 8 and 2 of 8 etc, but I could only count 6 at the ground so I don't know where the other 2 are.

Went to pick up some tickets for the Reading and Bournemouth games ... can confirm that they are red and white and not blue as feared.

Phew ... that was close.

Rupert Lowe to be hired as half time entertainment.

Apparently he's going to be wheeled around the perimeter in stocks and supporters can throw rotten fruit at him.

Maybe staff are not scared but perhaps honouring a commitment to keep confidential details of any changes/news until confirmed or released to the public.

This is perfectly normal and expected of any employee. Not everyone wants to betray their company by gobbing off about confidential proprietary information.

City training + cctv are both council run buildings within the stadium, parking is required for these employees.

LOL very good! IMO it will be announced we are redeveloping the whole area around SMS including increased capacity, remember in the original takeover thread, how a swiss guy wanted to redevelop the whole water front and have Saints and SMS at the heart of it? i think there might have been some truth in it, NC has been talking aout improving road networks etc, I might be a million trees over from barking up the right one but it keeps nagging at the back of my mind

See its starting:
