RonManager Posted 1 July, 2010 Posted 1 July, 2010 In and amongst the (arguably) not so good stuff, here's some good stuff. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2082457,00.html
Dave Benson Phillips Posted 1 July, 2010 Posted 1 July, 2010 I could be cynical. But it's nice to see Saints in the Community rebranded so it is self-sufficiant as opposed to using up money from the club. Good business decision, well done Mr Cortese * round of applause *
buctootim Posted 1 July, 2010 Posted 1 July, 2010 KD "looks forward to playing a part in its success". Guess hes staying then. All round good development.
saint_mears Posted 1 July, 2010 Posted 1 July, 2010 Only interested in the football club and not side shows
for_heaven's_Saint Posted 1 July, 2010 Posted 1 July, 2010 Waigo is in two pictures on their new website... maybe it's a sign he's coming back!
Bailey Posted 1 July, 2010 Posted 1 July, 2010 Good to hear of news like this. Cortese is certainly giving Southampton an overhaul from top to bottom, and initiatives like this have to be applauded, full credit to him. Here's hoping it's a huge success.
MorningtonCrescent Posted 2 July, 2010 Posted 2 July, 2010 On the face of it it looks like a good I initiative to build on the work done by Saints in the Community. Why oh why though, did they have adopt that aweful looking re-design of the Saints Crest?! It makes it look so amateurish!

With respect, it's not his initiative, it's Saints in the Community re-branded so they can raise money from supporters rather than the clubs profit. ( Which before people jump down my neck, makes good business sense, if people don't want to donate they won't ) But no, it's not his initiative. :-)

Whoever is coming up with the design & presentation side of things at st marys at the moment should be shot. This seems like a good move by the club, but I confess I don't know all the details.
