They have been here, i am sure of that, which is why IMO the ancient civilizations were so advanced and many of their 'gods' are in fact descriptions of aliens

I agree with this. I also find it odd how pyramids appear accross the globe in civilisations that had no contact with each other.

There's no mystery in either of those statements though. Pyramidal shapes are the most intuitive for a large structure because the "roof" is self-supporting. It stands to reason that more than one person would figure that out and get it built. It also stands to reason that images used to portray Gods a few millennia ago would filter down through society to become the basis for imaginary aliens. After all, all aliens in films are imaginary remember.

 

That's not to say I don't accept the probability (rather than possibility) of alien life in the Universe, I very much do, but if I didn't neither of those arguments would have me changing my mind any time soon.

I suggest you watch Indiana Jones and the Kingdon of the Crystal Skull (pretty crap film by spielberg standards though imo).

I just saw this guy in my garden, came down in an orange helicopter shaped thing, I thought it was just a lantern but obviously not

If you are in the airport area of Soton this evening, I have been informed that there will be more sightings of UFO's, possibly as many as eight* all taking off within a 10 minute period. Can't reveal my source but take it from me that this will happen.

 

*dependant on the corrolation of the Moon and Mars (and whether they have any left in the £1 shop in Shirley).

Dune, seriously I had the same experience around 25 years ago, me and 4 mates all witnessed it, two of the older lot in our group actually burst into tears. Experts at the time blamed it on the setting sun and clouds in the right place. Although what I saw that nite put the fear of God into me.

But that was 25 years ago, well before chinese lanterns came along.
