Is it just me, or does she have 'man's' hands? And is she cross-eyed from all the wheelin' and dealin' she does?

*****iness aside, she's obviously a very clever lady

First glance I thought it was Hilary Clinton.

OK, I have some REALLY fantastic new about a potential takeover.

There has now been no news or leaks about potential investors (other than our own regurgitated stuff on this thread) for almost 9 weeks.

As we have ALL seen with the Man City takeover, it was only known about AFTER the deal had been signed. The silence was kept locked tight for 6 months.

So the really GOOD news is that we have heard nothing new for 9 weeks therefore there is now ONLY 17 more weeks until 6 months of silence is complete and we are taken over.

There, simple wsasn't it.

Who is this? And what has she got to do with Saints?

(edit - I mean Corporal Stavely, not BTF)

She's the woman who brokered the Man City takeover and is, apparently, still working on the DIC bid for Liverpool.

HTH :)

She is a city deal broker who used his annual bonus to go to Morrocco for trans-gender surgery. The plane left from Eastleigh.

But then one must remember, Friday 26th is a Boxing Day

But that's only relevant in Christian countries, if we are to be bought out by a Dubai based company i don't think Xmas, sorry, the Holiday Season will stop them

In the same way that all the Abu Dhabi stuff at Man City was finished on Sunday - last working day before Ramadan.......

Only the PR happened on Monday:-)

But that also means we won't see any money from Astruius if they were expecting it out of Dubai/Kuwait/Bahrain until after Eid (around 2nd October)

Why is it so dark in her house and why has she got her coat on. These are important questions.

She wouldn't listen to me RE uping the lights and taking the clothes, but then she is a woman, what woman does listen?

If you could bring those two avatars of yours together some how it could be quite interesting.

Hang on I am getting quite excited what the hell is going on, wheres the wife.

Ps I have no knowledge of those sort of films, so it might be wishful thinking.

Mind you it is always a game of two halves.

Has anyone else noticed that Saintlee hasn't registered on this 'ere new pay-as-you-go forum yet....?

No? Thought not. Just me then.

Perhaps he's stuck up in Humberside for the second year running? (that area of the country where they don't have any internet access, you'll recall)

Think we should write a nice email to Amanda Stavely ( see is quite attractive which is always a bonus ) and see if she knows any other rich blokes that need to loose a fortune in football ;-)

Hmmm seems others have noticed her new power in the world as well.

I blame the OLD board. We got Keith Harris when we should have had Amanda.

(cue nasty tasteless jokes about hands, Orville, hands up and stuff, but of course not from me)

I do hope she fails with the Liverpool thing though, wouldn't want to be stuck in the middle of a Dubai V Abu Dhabi p*ssing contest where we used to have football

So.....

Yet another Friday floats by and the SUPPOSED Fulthorpe consortium YET AGAIN fails to come up with the goods.

Is there any moral obligation whatsoever for these so-called tyre-kickers to come clean and announce that their endeavours have come to nothing?

FFS.....

Someone, PLEASE, who is connected to this so called consortium...do the DECENT thing and come on here to tell us once and for all that you were never in the frame.....

No?

Thought not....JUST ABOUT SUMS UP THESE PEOPLE'S MORALS.....

I give up

Pathetic.

I have not seen anything first hand but several of my reliable contacts say it is still live and they, Fulthorpe & co, are still positive.

Now the transfer window has closed I am of the opinion that all will go quiet whilst they work in the background drawing up a offer document (we know one has not been submitted yet as MW says no formal approach). What I do not know and none of my contacts can confirm, is whether the investment money is in place.

I do not expect to hear anything more on the subject. If it is going to happen it will before the next window. Otherwise it will have just faded away.

Those were [almost] the same words that were said - not by you - before the transfer window opened in the first place.

I guess we can assume then, that this investment rumour has already just faded away....

Ron, if they can't put the substantial funds up front, we can safely assume that they don't have the money to ensure the criteria demanded by Lowe/Wilde.

IMO it has to be borrowed money, in that case, that level of finance couldn't possibly be covered by the company's assets. Neither would the increased debt and interest payments be covered by income.

Whilst there is little doubt the consortium want to take over the company, I maintain that the company are asking a high price, not only for the company but demanding that substantial funds are up front to fund the future developments and the GUARANTEED future.

Despite rumours, unless these people are idiots, it won't happen. In fact unless all the funds are in place, enough to cover plans and any long term interest payments, it would be madness,

Thanks for the update Weston, however, it's your last sentance that bothers me most....i.e. "Otherwise it will have just faded away".

IFFulthorpe and Co have indeed been mounting a serious takeover/investment bid "in the background" (I use this phrase loosely as we all know they have been 'testing the water' in the public domain for some months now....) then, IN MY HUMBLE OPINION, they (or a representative) should come on here and explain why they were unsuccessful.

I know it won't happen as there is no morallity left in this crap country of ours anymore but one can still cling onto a sliver of hope that Fulthorpe is from an old school of 'gentlemen' that feel duty bound to let ordinary people like you and I know what has happened over the last 6+ months.

Is Fulthorpe that honourable?
