alpine_saint Posted 27 June, 2010 Posted 27 June, 2010 Apparently Lampard and Gerrard, rather than reflecting on their utterly dire personal WC campaigns, have commented to the press that they want Capello to stay on. What f**king business is it of theirs ? Wont they play if the manager is changed ? Time for the FA to get a grip and appoint a coach that plays the best 11, not who sells more shirts on the back of valueless PL performances
Saint in Paradise Posted 27 June, 2010 Posted 27 June, 2010 Time for the FA to get a grip and appoint a coach that plays the best 11, not who sells more shirts on the back of valueless PL performances I think that has been the sorry state for a few years now.
TijuanaTim Posted 27 June, 2010 Posted 27 June, 2010 'Who actually runs the England football team ? '...Great question AS
Albert Tatlock Posted 27 June, 2010 Posted 27 June, 2010 Apparently Lampard and Gerrard, rather than reflecting on their utterly dire personal WC campaigns, have commented to the press that they want Capello to stay on. What f**king business is it of theirs ? Wont they play if the manager is changed ? Time for the FA to get a grip and appoint a coach that plays the best 11, not who sells more shirts on the back of valueless PL performances So say,if the manager is changed, who do you suggest plays instead of them?
TijuanaTim Posted 27 June, 2010 Posted 27 June, 2010 Only two people can handle those @sswipes Fergy and Mourinho!
saint_bert Posted 27 June, 2010 Posted 27 June, 2010 So say,if the manager is changed, who do you suggest plays instead of them? Anyone. They havent covered themselves in glory have they?
JackFrost Posted 27 June, 2010 Posted 27 June, 2010 Completely agree. 3 things run the England team. 1) The FA 2) The English Media 3) The player's obscene wages The 'manager' is nothing more than a figurehead.
sadoldgit Posted 27 June, 2010 Posted 27 June, 2010 I don't think that Capello hs covered himself in glory this campaign but the players really should take most of the blame.
Whitey Grandad Posted 27 June, 2010 Posted 27 June, 2010 Capello is paid a fortune, he has to take responsibility.
