a freak goal for them against england...a last min winner against algeria then out against a team that was playing half decent football

great

Why so negative?

They topped their group. They held England to a draw. They came back from a two-goal deficit to earn a draw against Slovenia. And they took Ghana to overtime in a last-sixteen game. Not bad.

And as far as their temperament was concerned, they played fair and showed a never-say-die attitude. I didn't want to see them progress at Ghana's expense, but you have to admit they've done well.

I want to let you off because I've just heard Landon Donovan use the same term, but yeah, keep it football and not soccer ;)

Did he thank the Lord for helping shoot the PK?

Oh well, back to the LA Dairy Crunch or whatever the f'k they're called. Maybe the Yanks should have added Freddie Adu to the squad. Lol.

The US maybe added a bit of something to the WC, cant even tell what that is really. As soon as they had to face a half decent side their championship defence was clearly out of its depth. Dempsey and Donovan are good players but everyone else was a bit useless. Think going out in the last 16 is about the USAs level tbh.

They added a damn site more than the useless, overweight, slow shower of s***e that is England. England are a disgrace and give up at the slightest adversity....at least the US gave it their absolute all.

What Alpine said - at least thier red and white shirts were sweat soiled. Our Prima Donnas need a good old kick up the jacksie - to a man, we were friggin woeful from start to finish in this competition. Embarrassed to be an Englishman, and I have to visit Germany for two weeks next week - f u k i n great...!
