eelpie Posted 27 September, 2008 Posted 27 September, 2008 Who's coming on Tuesday to watch Saints trounce Norwich? A good attendance and three points. Just what we need. The lads deserve it. COYR
70's Mike Posted 27 September, 2008 Posted 27 September, 2008 me but do not expect more than 15k , we need to win homegames to convince people
Arizona Posted 27 September, 2008 Posted 27 September, 2008 Was planning to, but sadly I wont be home by then.
Rocker268 Posted 27 September, 2008 Posted 27 September, 2008 Most probably I hope too as I havnt been since we beat brum in the cup due to other commitments, also my little brother is doing the half time entertainment penalty thing so I will come support him doing that hopefully there will be a large crowd to cheer the lads they need it to keep spirits high and begin a winning streak!!!
saintwarwick Posted 27 September, 2008 Posted 27 September, 2008 I shall have to miss my first home game and home win in the league this season due to a late break in the Algarve.
View From The Top Posted 27 September, 2008 Posted 27 September, 2008 5-6hr round trip for Norwich at home? Don't ******* think so!
NickG Posted 27 September, 2008 Posted 27 September, 2008 not me. Missing first home game for years, boring victory please (yep selfishly don't want to miss a classic!)
Englesaint Posted 27 September, 2008 Posted 27 September, 2008 5 + hour round trip for Norwich at home? Amazingly . . . yes !
Nutwood2 Posted 27 September, 2008 Posted 27 September, 2008 I'll be there. I think this could be a classic. i like Norwich. They're a bit like us aren't they? 3-3 draw i reckon. Hat trick for Peckhardt. Mark my words!
Whitey Grandad Posted 27 September, 2008 Posted 27 September, 2008 I'll be there of as usual. The game against Norwich last season was a wonderful exhibition of football sportsmanship. None of the primadonnas that you get in the premiership, just good honest pros going at it hammer and tongs. Played at a cracking pace, if a player got clattered they just got up again and carried on. It was truly a memorable game. We lost of course.

Wes Tender Posted 27 September, 2008 Posted 27 September, 2008 I'll be there with my son. He phoned to ask me to get a ticket for him. He was really hacked off when he went with me to the Barnsley match, so I'm a bit surprised that he wants to go, but he inherits a masochistic streak from me which must explain it.
AwaySaint1 Posted 27 September, 2008 Posted 27 September, 2008 Trouble with kids playing is that they are very inconsistent. We will draw or lose this one.
Arizona Posted 27 September, 2008 Posted 27 September, 2008 Up until last season, we'd beat Norwich on every visit to SMS. First their was the cup 5th round in 2003, then the 4-3 in the relegation season, a retaken McQ penalty was the only goal in the first CCC season and Kenny got a brace when we came from behind just before Christmas 2006. Off the top of me 'ead... We took them to the cleaners last year too, but just couldn't find the net. Rasiak and Skacel were by far the best players on the pitch in what was the last game for both of them. Both hit the woodwork and the 'keeper at least once. BWP played on the wing and was abysmal.
sperm_john Posted 28 September, 2008 Posted 28 September, 2008 unfortuneately not ... am residing in north hants
stanthemanfairoak Posted 28 September, 2008 Posted 28 September, 2008 []i will not go until lowe and wilde are gone![/GONE WHERE?SILLY BOY!
saintsfannick Posted 28 September, 2008 Posted 28 September, 2008 oz what ever happened to supporting your team and a decent fan would do that no matter who's in charge , give lowe and jp your backing and they might deliver , i wont be going to norwich at home BUT i will be at the ricoh arena on saturday
sfcuk fan Posted 28 September, 2008 Posted 28 September, 2008 The trouble with evening matches is most of our players have to be in bed by eight pm so we tend to lose quite a lot of them
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 28 September, 2008 Posted 28 September, 2008 I will be there but not sure about us doing any trouncing.
Rocker268 Posted 28 September, 2008 Posted 28 September, 2008 The trouble with evening matches is most of our players have to be in bed by eight pm so we tend to lose quite a lot of them hahaha does Jan have to phone up their parents asking for special permission to be out after dark, if so we are screwed for the winter games when its dark at 5 =p
Saint_clark Posted 28 September, 2008 Posted 28 September, 2008 I've got a season ticket, so it would be pointless for me not to go.
Jez Posted 28 September, 2008 Posted 28 September, 2008 I'm going, first game of the season, with a few mates. Gotta get the train up from Southsea (Fratton) station - might not wear my Saints shirt! :smt075
saintjinksie Posted 28 September, 2008 Posted 28 September, 2008 we are the only team in the division to not have won at home, doesnt feel me with hope but maybe
musesaint Posted 28 September, 2008 Posted 28 September, 2008 Yes I'd hate to miss the continuation of our meteoric rise up the CCC!
Toadhall Saint Posted 28 September, 2008 Posted 28 September, 2008 If it's gonna be a trouncing then count me in!
70's Mike Posted 28 September, 2008 Posted 28 September, 2008 If it's gonna be a trouncing then count me in! settle for 1 nil saints
Andy_Porter Posted 28 September, 2008 Posted 28 September, 2008 I'll be there, quite looking forward to it now. Norwich are a good side though, can't take anything for granted.
Saint_Jonny Posted 28 September, 2008 Posted 28 September, 2008 Ill be there, looking forward to it. DOES ANY ONE KNOW IF THE TICKET OFFICE IS OPEN ON SUNDAYS? thanks
Nexstar Posted 28 September, 2008 Posted 28 September, 2008 Ill be there, looking forward to it. DOES ANY ONE KNOW IF THE TICKET OFFICE IS OPEN ON SUNDAYS? thanks No, it's shut.
Oz Posted 28 September, 2008 Posted 28 September, 2008 []i will not go until lowe and wilde are gone![/GONE WHERE?SILLY BOY! gone period, are you thick or what?
miserableoldgit Posted 28 September, 2008 Posted 28 September, 2008 gone period, are you thick or what? Not too sure that stan is the thick one.
mitch01 Posted 28 September, 2008 Posted 28 September, 2008 Was planning to go but have been roped into working 7-Close that evening. I have promised the illogical self-hating part of my brain that actually wants to go to St Marys to watch football matches that I will take it next time.
Thedelldays Posted 28 September, 2008 Posted 28 September, 2008 after the victory at the weekend, I am to hacked off to attend a saints game, they make my blood boil at times
Guest Dark Sotonic Mills Posted 28 September, 2008 Posted 28 September, 2008 Was planning to, but sadly I wont be home by then. Arrange a fuel problem over Eastleigh, stack to use up the excess and make sure you have a really good pair of binoculars and Solent tuned in on your headset.
devonsaint Posted 28 September, 2008 Posted 28 September, 2008 5 + hour round trip for Norwich at home? Amazingly . . . yes ! ...and me, I'll be there.
