I gave it up about 10 years ago - have the horrendous traffic jams gotten any more bearable ?

Yes, the traffic is pretty bad on the morning, that is why we are going friday afternoon, spend two nights under the stars, and away sunday morning at 8am.

Pretty bad going in from the south east, but not too bad coming out.

 

Well worth the queues to see the Vulcan back in the air though!
