Is there any chance that there can be some sort of alert when someone qoutes one of your posts instead of trawling through every thread to ensure nobody has asked you a question ??

 

Obviously this could annoy some people so a simple alert or not alert button could be included ??

You can subscribe to individual threads, but I don't think you can do so for individual posts.

Does Subscribing alert you then ?

It can do... in the "Thread tools" menu at the top of the thread, select "Subscribe to thread" and then choose whichever notification type you want to receive.
