Hate all of the play acting i have seen in the world cup so far.

So do I, but when it's being done against the Italians as opposed to them doing it, then it becomes a bit more acceptable

You would go down for 12 months if you did. ;)
' quote Lol at this thread getting to 13 pages worth of pointless boll*cks.

Anyone that actually believes these guys got 12 months for shaking a fence and perhaps throwing a coin is almost as f*cking moronic as the goons that have gone down for acting like tw*ts in full view of the police and cameras.

Everyone knows that football violence carries harsher sentancing, and saying 'think about the people and their families etc' Boll*cks, i feel sorry for their families for being related to such a bunch of idiots, i don't feel sorry for someone that goes out and commits a crime, i wouldn't feel sorry for someone that lost their driving licence for being over the limit, i wouldn't feel sorry for someone that went down for throwing a punch in town when 'he is not normally like that' and i certainly don't feel for these guys.

Hopefully a stint inside will make them actually THINK about their families, jobs etc themselves. ' end quote

I thought I'd add a quote from the main forum, a bit of devilment SS really

f*cking hell! Sounds like a cracking game. Might have to watch it later somehow. Was it on BBC or ITV? I had italy down for winning the WC too - glad I didn't put my money on it.

Agreed. At least in prison they might actually change from being the dregs of society. Only thing I found a bit ridiculous is that they go to prison for that, yet pedo's and what not walk free in some instances. Stricter punishments for all IMO. If we run out of room in prisons, send them to the Isle Of Wight.

True.

I maintain both comments however ;)

Difference is i wouldn't tear up someones livelyhood and hurl objects in his direction as he was stood with other innocent parties that could include women and children, in front of the police and recording equipment.

But heyho, that is a different thread.

Going to prison was a bit harsh really.

But then if you are really going to incite an already baited mass of equal idiots in full view of the OB and in doing so hurl objects randomly into a crowd of people to do no more than to cause damage to someone with no regard to who else is in the group of people then you really deserve to be punished. They'll be out in 5-6 months anyways.

lol:@:Italy. It just goes to show with Italy and France going out that no team has a God given right to be in the last 16. I was thinking this about England, if we played badly against Slovenia, we deserved to go out, but we didn't.

This'll be an interesting WC now, tis just a shame England only managed second spot, because the other side of the draw is looking much easier...

Watched the game in my local bar, and the gallows humour was coming out, and a fair bit of criticism. As the Slovaks wasted time at the end someone commented "At least they learnt something from us". It was all taken with good humour as I don't think anyone thought Italy had much of a chance in this WC and anybody who actually bet on them would probably be considered mad here. They desperately need fresh blood as Gattuso et al are really slowing down. They were second to every loose ball.

Well that teaches me for predicting Italy would eventually raise their game enough to win through. One can usually depend on them to get their fingers out quickly enough, but not this time. Oh well, I'm 50% down on my countries, so I'd better back England 100% from now on.

Rubbish. The finishing wasn't great, but we won't create the amount of chances we did in many competitive matches regardless who we play, as we did yesterday.

I'm not suggesting we were outstanding, but we certainly didn't play badly.
