Fabulous afternoon and evening of cricket. Never really chasing the total, always felt comfortable (alright, felt a bit nervous when Collingwood went for 11) but what a way to finish!!!

was the first cricket match i've attended for over 10 years & i loved it

thought the rosebowl was great & was very impressed with the facilities, especialy the bars every 30 yards or so. as for the match i have to agree with your summary totaly. Morgan was a joy to watch & deserved his hundred for his skill & bravery.

only downside was at the end i was blowing my airhorn so hard i broke it

It's a quality ground now. Well, it was pretty decent before, excellent now. Looking forward to some Twenty20s now....

got a free ticket in the new stand, not too shabby at all. Still get royally screwed over for food etc though.

Sorry to hi-jack this thread, but I'm too tight to pay a fiver

 

I'm going to the T20 match tomorrow, this will be the first time I've been to The Rose Bowl. Where is the best place to park that's not too expensive or too far to walk. I assume that on-street parking will be a no-go & the car parks at PC World, Sainsburys etc will all be locked & un-available.

I've parked in the top end of the M&S car park before with no problems. They only seem to check for the International games.
