Winchester March Past - today (Wed)

600 members of 11 Light Brigade will march through Winchester today, starting at 12.00, in honour of the 64 members of Herrick 11 who lost their lives in Helmand.

 

There will also be a fly-past by 4 Tornadoes at 13.40.

I wish I could be there. I once played a cup game against the light Brigade and we were well beaten by a stronger, fitter side. Their big centre-forward (Horace) had been on tv the night before in some British Championship boxing match. Nice guys, all of them, no gloating or triumphalism.
