Nope, don't worry. The institution lives on, hale and hearty. ;)

 

I just wondered whether I was the first one to discover his online comedy, or second, an alsoran or last. Here's a link:

I know some people don't get him. I'm not sure he does himself. I often find him hilarious and a bit of a joy, because he truly is on the edge of a precipiece of ham-acting/humour/whatever. In truth, when he disciplines himself, he's a half decent classic actor too.

He's fine in some 'mad shouty bastard' roles like the king in Blackadder, but more often just comes across as painful to listen to....as in the clip above.

 

His interaction with Paul and Ian on HIGNFY was excellent though...
