Did you notice that the French didn't all have the same shirt?

Some had those which looked as if they're wearing some sort of black harness and some just had the same shirt but without that mark .

I'm sure that must be against some rule or other. All are on. BBC are using BBC1 and BBC3. ITV are using ITV1 and ITV4. You get to choose which match you'd like to watch.

Arrived in Cape Town yesterday and went down to the waterfront to watch the game. Stood in the fan zone next to Brian Hunt and his wife! We were sporting our new Saints/England gear, and Mrs Hunt spotted our shirts and called us over to share a space near them! They had dinner with Terry Paine a few nights earlier. What a lovely couple. A great afternoon.

So the Hosts are out. I know I'm a bit biased, but I don't think they disgraced themselves. A couple of class touches short of going through. They very nearly beat Mehico when they hit the post in the second half.

 

They performed better than many, me included, expected. They put France out. If they'd done a "North Korea" last night France would still have gone through.
