St Landrew Posted 22 June, 2010 Posted 22 June, 2010 If its a Baumatic save yourself the bill and throw it away. Terrible shoddy rubbish. Other than that cant help -sorry. Who is the manufacturer..? How old is it..? Condition..? Is the leak at a [door] seal or is it just a hose..? It could mean the difference between keeping it and saying bye-bye. Have you seen how cheap dishwashers are..? [no jokes about old people, just a couple of beers, etc...]
Huffton Posted 22 June, 2010 Posted 22 June, 2010 http://www.realh.co.uk/lion/index.html Not the flashiest website granted, but a good honest engineer.
Ponty Posted 22 June, 2010 Posted 22 June, 2010 I think Junction 9 (he's a member on here) fixed Wiltshire Saint's dishwasher not long ago.

norwaysaint Posted 22 June, 2010 Posted 22 June, 2010 I think Junction 9 (he's a member on here) fixed Wiltshire Saint's dishwasher not long ago. I was going to post the same. Junction 9 works in this general area (dishwashers etc, not Norway).
tpbury Posted 25 June, 2010 Posted 25 June, 2010 Any update on this dishwasher epic? I'm finding it gripping - pathos, suspense, humour, tragedy, it's all there.
EastleighSoulBoy Posted 25 June, 2010 Posted 25 June, 2010 Any update on this dishwasher epic? I'm finding it gripping - pathos, suspense, humour, tragedy, it's all there. Where's the daftness? Oh!
Wiltshire Saint Posted 25 June, 2010 Posted 25 June, 2010 I think Junction 9 (he's a member on here) fixed Wiltshire Saint's dishwasher not long ago. Yep, he's pretty good. You may need to wait a while because he's busy. Drop him a PM with your address and nature of problem and I'm sure he'll come round. Oh, and make sure you've got enough biscuits in, he's a "large" man.
suewhistle Posted 25 June, 2010 Posted 25 June, 2010 Does it leak all the time or only at particular times in the cycle? I repaired my own (after leaving it untouched in the kitchen for 6 months) by simply buying a new drainage pump on the internet and fitting it myself: it only leaked at the end of the cycle and luckily my diagnosis was correct.
Marsdinho Posted 5 July, 2010 Author Posted 5 July, 2010 UPDATE: I ended up going with this company http://www.0800repair.com/ as they had a free estimate & call out service. They sent around a very friendly engineer that did a brillaint job, and was very fairly priced. Would strongly recommend him to anyone that has a faulty dishwasher.
