France Refuse to Train

What a bunch of prima donnas the French are, an absolute disgrace. I knew before the WC they had problems with the manager and the players didn't allow him to run the team so they are just proving that very point.

To be fair the French manager seems to be a ****.

He is but that doesn't justify the actions of the players.

Did you see the clip of Henry on the bench looking totally disinterested in the full knowledge he wasn't part of the plans. Leaving him on the bench was joke and clearly the manager is a joke. As to your statement if the England team did that i'd be fuming, but there are clearly frictions in our camp too with Capello losing the squad.

Henry's legs have gone so he doesn't justify a starting place which I suspect may be the real issue since he is one of the "elite" who like to run the team as opposed to the manager. Not helpful ! As for Capello I'm not sure he's losing the players loyalty but he is certainly making a complete mess of picking the team and playing players in the wrong position, in particular Gerrard. However, as I stated elsewhere I'm sure Rooney isn't fully fit but as with Man Utd( who played him much too often last season) he is considered irreplaceable and without him we simply aren't good enough.

He is playing the same players and system he played for much of the qualifying campaign, during which we were f*cking awesome.

In fact, here is the team when we beat Croatia 5-1, notice anything? That's right, Gerrard played on the left, and we tore them apart.

Robert Green; Glen Johnson, Matthew Upson, John Terry, Ashley Cole; Aaron Lennon, Frank Lampard, Gareth Barry, Steven Gerrard; Emile Heskey, Wayne Rooney

I blame Mrs Terry.

A game we could have won 10-1 in truth but Heskey as usual missed at least 2 clear cut chances and Joe Cole was not available. As we all know the left side of our midfield has long been a problem which begs the question when we have a player like Cole who is now available why not play him and put Gerrard into his more favoured position ? John Terry certainly wants him in the team as do I as it is clear that whatever the reason that system isn't working now. Lampard and Gerrard both scored 2 in that game but aside from the early part of the USA neither have looked like scoring. I thought being intransigence was the forte of Sven but Capello seems now to be following suit.

Do you mean that they should have played him less in order for him to be fully fit for England's World Cup Campaign?
