Hi,

 

In previous seasons, someone has been kind enough to create an Outlook calendar file of the saints fixtures.

 

Whoever that person is, can they do one for this season and post a link to it on here.

Well, last year it was me (and boy did people moan about the typos). Bit busier at work this year but should be able to get something sorted by the start of the season somehow...

The9 does one usually when he stops moaning about being busier at work and managing a football team, usually a few typo's and or wrong dates in there, but i feel it adds to the experience somewhat, keep you on your toes etc

Right click your desktop, Properties- Desktop Tab-Customize Desktop-Web Tab-New-Paste this in- http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/s/southampton/fixtures/default.stm

 

Let it syncronise

 

click ok, click ok. Hover your mouse over the top left corner of the box and click on the down arrow, and select split desktop with icons.

 

Your background is now the BBC Southampton FC Fixtures page, and will update.

New fixtures already on there and links into my phone calendar, personal email client and work calendar - perfect. Oh, and the scores are put in as well after each game so you can reflect :)

Hi, is there any way to make this adjust for BST as my ko times show 2pm. Guess I could set it to a European +1 hour zone but then that will change when we revert to GMT.

Not sure how it all works but are you linking the calendar into your own? Think there must be a setting somewhere as, when I look at the SFC calendar online it shows games starting at 14:00 but when I hook it into my personal diary it puts all the matches at 15:00 so there's some kind of BST conversion done somewhere!

Thanks for the google thing, but I'll wait for the9 to do his thing as i need it to sync to my outlook calander and my PDA, so that it is shared by my org and I am not rotad in to work those weekends, (Hint, Hint)

Aha, Google won't let me see the calendar on my android device, so I uploaded the CSV to a new calendar of mine own and all is good. Will have to check back for changes etc, but that's no problem. Both online, personal one on phone!

There are a few things about that csv file above I don't like. Kick off time is wrong for tomorrow, can't see the point of putting "Southampton v" in any of the matches as it just obscures the useful information (opponent) in monthly calendar view, and also in what universe have games ended at 16:45 in the last 15 years ?

 

Having said that, good starting point for anyone who wants to do their own file, which unfortch I don't have time for this year...
