Search facility

Since the upgrade yesterday, the search facility doesn't appear to work when searching for words in past posts/threads.

 

Searching for words in past thread titles only seems to work fine.

 

Also, and I think this may be connected, when clicking on a link in pre-upgrade thread (that links back to another SWF thread) the 'linked-to' thread does not appear....

 

For example, search for 'monkey' using the advance forum search and you get nowt. However, search for 'monkey chicken petting zoo saintsweb' in Google and the following link pops up: http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=14620&page=237. But click on that and all you get is the number of users logged on, however page 237 of the thread in the link (the Pompey Takeover Thread as it happens) does indeed exist. And that post links to another SWF thread which, again, doesn't bring up the thread.

 

I do need to be able to search for all threads with 'monkey' in them as often as possible.

Yeah, we need to rebuild the search indexes... when I did this on our development site, it took about 7 hours!

 

I'll probably set it up to rebuild overnight tonight.
