[Block 5]

Since the upgrade to the forum yesterday I have been unable to log in using the default browser on my HTC Hero.

 

I enter my username and password and hit GO, but I end up with a white screen.

 

Any ideas?

I've had no problem with a HTC Magic but my browser has difficulty in resizing the page.

Bizarrely, the problem seems to have rectified itself.

I haven't altered any settings, but have kept trying to log in all morning; all of a sudden it's fine.

 

Case closed.

 

 

PS. Andy, totally unrelated, but have you upgraded to Android 2.1 yet?

Nope, it was promised be an over the air update at the end of April and it hasn't come :/

 

By the way, I just realised that on my laptop if you log in on the front page it doesn't log you in but if you do it on the forum page it does... might just be that?

Are you with T-Mobile?

Latest date is June 18th for T-Mobile's 2.1 upgrade - we shall see.

It is possible to upgrade yourself to Android 2.1 (search on YouTube), but I think I shall wait.

Deffo get Opera mini, handles all webpages very well.

 

P.s- No, that is how many i have......and i had it wiped a while back when it got to 6,000ish

18th June? Fair enough, this means I get street view! And yer, I can never be too bothered in messing around with my phone or something like that, I'm always paranoid I'll mess it up somehow.

 

I hope they have somehow improved the camera with this update, though I guess that is more hardware than software :/

Fine on the HD2, but it doesn't run on Android like the Hero does.

You should be able to get street view now; I can.

Try long pressing on a street in normal map view.

A little box should appear.

Then touch the box and some options should appear, including street view.
