Very clever marketing to time the release of the kit with the first England game of the World Cup when we're all thinking about football anyway.

 

Nice one, whoever it was that made that decision, you've probably added a few hundred sales today through that simple move.

Got my shirt and a scarf. Impressed with the shirt but admit I wasn't initially blown away, the badge looks ok too in the flesh.

 

When I got to the till a woman put something in the bag which I thought was an extra but it was actually a shirt in packaging and she took the other one. Damn. Looking forward yo seeing the whole stadium in them.

 

Quite a strange experience seeing so many people buy exactly the same item of clothing though lol

Cheers for the pic Um Bongo - looks good. some things you don't notice in the official pics. I didn't realise it had the 'old school' polo shirt collar - quite rugby like. hopefully get mine soon.

No, they are not, its a mans game and women should not wear football shirts so they are only doing mans sizes. Anyway, it wont fit under your apron.

ITs exactly the same as a Pringle polo shirt i had a few years back, although obviously no umbro sign and saints badge, very nice it was too, not sure what happened to it come to think of it.

awwwww dammit, i really want one, finances are tight, so gonna have to wait a while, first time i've been so bothered that i've had to wait for years :(

Just got mine, very much like the logo now as the red and gold go really well together, just like with the lettering on the back of the shirt as well.

The shirt actually looks quite nice in those images. Much better than in the images released by the club at any rate.

it's 100% polyester , but it's a lovely light ,airy fabric....and the crest looks great on it too :)

no they aren't, but they have introduces a XS mens, and being a lady myself who has just bought one, i have to say that the fit is very good, shapely and not tight across the bazookas......i'm a size 12-14 in normal clothes and a medium fit perfectly.....i iz one happy lady!! :D

 

the atmosphere was great down there (about a 30-45 minute wait, but thats ok, it meant that the shop was not crowded, there was no pushing or aggro between people , so it all made for a really nice experience):D

There are long sleeved versions.

 

The shirt actually looks really nice on.

 

Its the normal umbro material, very light.

 

The bottom left corner of the front of the shirt has a triangle for the "tailored by umbro" but and if you turn that bit over it has an inscription that says something about the anniversary with the season dates on it (2010-2011)

 

Very happy with mine, really like the shirt, got interviewed for the website while in the shop too... don't know if it'll make it onto the website but quite surreal nonetheless. :)
