Minty Posted 11 June, 2010 Share Posted 11 June, 2010 Now I'm no fan of the Tories or the Daily Mail, but I don't think either of them could ever be accused of being as racist as that map.
Robsk II Posted 11 June, 2010 Share Posted 11 June, 2010 The Mail has moments like it IMO.
Minty Posted 11 June, 2010 Share Posted 11 June, 2010 Yes, true, but that's a bit extreme IMO.

Whitey Grandad Posted 11 June, 2010 Share Posted 11 June, 2010 In my second year at university a previous occupant had left on the wall a map of the USSR which was of course was centred on the Russian empire. It was interesting to see the world from their perspective, surrounded on most sides by potential threats. It's no wonder that they needed buffer states on all sides. dubai_phil Posted 12 June, 2010 Share Posted 12 June, 2010 Lol, 1985 eh, how times have changed, publish that today and whoosh. I couldn't possibly comment on how totally accurate their description of our neighbours The Magic Kingdom is
Mao Cap Posted 13 June, 2010 Share Posted 13 June, 2010 From yesterday's Daily Mail. Really. That's nothing. I saw a letter a few weeks ago arguing that it was a waste of taxpayers' money keeping premature babies in incubators. Thought I might have mis-read it, or it was a very un-Mail like attempt by the newspaper to parody itself, but no...
