These Vubuzela things (or whatever the **** they are called) are going to do my head right in. Sounds like a huge swarm of wasps inside a stadium.

Got £10 on Pienaar to score first. Tight 1-0 either way i reckon

Great, all that work and

1) You have to call Qatar to register your card it then takes 48 hours. No, that is NOT what they said on the contract you buy the card and it will be active in 24 horus automatically

2) Not one TV in the entire Middle East is showing the game because Al Jazeera don't have a strong enough Satellite signal, it runs for 20 seconds and cuts out for 5 minutes

Unbelievable

Absolute bunch of cheating amateurs

iraqgoals.com?

Or Vidalia and I player. However having PAID for the service

Still seems to have settled down better on channel wobble wiggle squiggle which was found thanks to Google toolbar translating the web site

Of course, trying to get through to Qatar in the next few weeks will be impossible as the million or so subscribers realise they've been lied to in their contracts and try and phone the call centre for activation

yes hello I am call centre being making I wanting you helping you are activation have it? yes web site must entry arabic only in is happy problem no?

Peter feckin Drury. He thinks he's a fecking literary genius or something, trying to make every line sound like some great theatrical masterpiece, and coming out with obscure, irrelevant stats from before the Ice Age. Imo, he comes over as a pretentious, intelligence insulting tw*t.

Apart from that I have no problem with him at all.

I am not bothered about the horns though as I have anaesthetised myself to them by wearing a bucket full of mosquitos on my head for the last three weeks.

BBC Sport's Jonathan Stevenson at Soccer City: "I think we've just witnessed one of the great outpouring of emotions in the history of the World Cup. As soon as the ball left the hammer like left foot of Siphiwe Tshabalala, it was only going in one place - and it's just got a little bit louder. It's so harsh on the Mexicans, but it's not really about them right now."

Oh christ, give it a rest eh? Why do some journos insist on this kind of OTT ********?!

What a game that was, thought RSA deserved to win that in the end. Mexico were brilliant first half but sh1te in the second, and South Africa were rubbish in the first and great in the second. Hopefully that's the benchmark for the games to come!

Really I thought it was a poor game everybody seemed scared to play the killer ball and overall passing was dire, seen better games this season in Div 1

The passing was pretty poor, but I thought the game was very evenly balanced and there was some really exciting and tense moments. I've decided to support South Africa in the tournament now, being a Scot and that...
