Why not Red and White Stripes?

Only Brentford Play in them

Fairly sure the two main colours have to be different in home and away shirts to avoid confusion and shirt clashes.

My bet goes on dark blue with yellow trim and yellow sleeves.

Years ago there was only a need to change shirts if there was a clash Saints often played away in their stripes

There will be NO AWAY Kit this year.

We do not clash with anyone.

One kit one team.

Will be the marketing slogan.

Inside info... oops.

Strictly speaking, we don't!!!!

Of course we will have an away kit though, there's money to be made.

We do not clash with anyone.

Just a few examples (there are others in League One)...

Red and White

Brentford

Exeter

Teams that have lots of white - like the Saints kit

MK Dons

Tranmere

Are you also saying Saints won't play teams in the 3 cup competitions that the new kit won't clash with?

Are they playing in the Chile strip as well then?

You clearly don't understand what constitutes a kit clash.

We don't have red and white. We have white, with one red diagonal stripe.

If you could get confused between this strip and Brentford's, you couldn't fecking score anyway!!

So what about MK Dons and Tranmere?

What about cup games?

btw I guarantee you the Brentford vs Saints game will be with Saints in an away kit due to a clash.

It is a Football League rule all teams should have an away kit.

Current football league rules...

So what happens if they play a non Football League team (Premiership or conference) in the FA Cup or League Cup away from home and there is a clash but Saints have no away kit?

We go skins - and it will still look less gay than that sash.

Wear the other team's away kit, like Bristol Rovers (I think) did when they played at Leyton Orient this season.

Cheers. Don't suppose he's got a mobile phone with a camera per chance? Sneaky pic? :-)

On an earlier thread the idea of black/red sash was raised by someone.

This is an example :

Personally I can't see it happening as the red may still clash when changing at Swindon,Walsall etc

Black shirt with Yellow stripe (guess)

Good shirt as I said earlier but it looks like Bristol Rovers may have beaten us to it from 2008/9:
