Just posting on the off chance some one else on here is going this weekend. Me and mate wondering where the best place to watch the england game around there is

They are sure to have the match showing in a bar at the track. Otherwise is there not a pub in the village as you approach from the M20? Or maybe the hotel at the entrance, Thistle iirc.

 

The pub at Fawkham (sp) will not show any sport, as it's a niddle england toff's place.

 

I persdonally would head for the Castle in Aynsford (2 miles away), they show footie on a big creen (and shut off the restaurant area to avoid upsetting non-believers) and they do food too. I've heard that their room rates are excellent, about £50 for a twin with brekkie. It shouldn't get too packed either as it's a smallish village, just donlt tell all the other petrol-heds as itr's our little secret.
