The shirt looks amazing, I'm going to get one as soon as I can. Stripes will be back next season and I will be glad, but it's hard to wear them out and about without drawing massive attention to yourself, i'm glad we have a more subtle, smart option now.

 

And the echo can **** right off, who cares if the club choose to announce something at a time of their own choosing. It's a commercial product release, they have every right to be in complete control of marketing and publicity.

I really like it. The lack of a sash on the back won't look so bad once the player names and numbers are there to fill the space.

Sorry, are you genuinely suggesting that the club should be allowed to control what the press (whether it's the Echo, Radio Solent, the national press, whoever) write/say about the club and when?? Our own little Pravda... excellent.

Not very liberal, I agree, but it's common sense that if you want a good relationship with somebody/something then you abide by the rules. If you got married, would your wife be too happy that you went out and cheated on her? Different scenarios I know, but along the same lines. If The Echo had wanted to ensure a good relationship with SFC, they could've waited 48hrs (not that long really) and published the article when the club had done the official reveal. Instead, they published the article, got their punishment from Cortese and are now getting all p1ssy about not having the priviledges they had before. Sorry fellas, but that's just life.

The 1885 kit had black socks so if you are doing a modern version then the 2010 kit should have black socks. Either go the whole way with the concept of a historic kit or don't bother.

Isn't there a UEFA ruling that if it's not a plain shirt then the number has to be set on a plain panel? It would have been a right mess with a stripe and big red block - will look better as a T-shirt plain aswell particularly as most wouldn't have a number added.
