I was at SMS today and didn't notice tons of soil lying around.

However I did notice that there were some workmen trying to sort a problem of loads of water p1ssing off the top of the roof.

It looked like they were replacing some kind of insulation / lagging material.

I hope SMS gets a much needed spruce up over the Summer; it was looking tired and shabby in places today.

So not only do they want to rip us off with the ticket tax they now want us to cart away their soil.

It is free.

Why are you complaining?

They could have quite easily just got rid of it. Yes, it saves them money disposing some of it, but it is also a nice gesture.

I may pop down and grab a few shovel-fulls this weekend. I have a few bare patches that won't respond to other methods I have tried, hopefully this will get to the root of the problem.

My lawn will be a cut above the rest and sod what others think.

Surely if they're already paying a company to dig it and carry it outside the stadium it wouldn't have cost that much to get a 35 yard roll on skip and dump it all in there.

It's all about recycling these days.

By the way, do I have to pay up front for the soil, or is there a payment plan?
