spyinthesky Posted 8 June, 2010 Posted 8 June, 2010 Just as a comparison £680 online price for a seat on the Kop, £735 'at window' whatever that means. Prices up 7% over last year Compare players wages up 17% with Liverpool having 3rd highest wage bill in the country. Surely the cost of football and the ridiculous players wages can't continue?
Arizona Posted 8 June, 2010 Posted 8 June, 2010 Eventually everything will go pop and it will be Saints vs Stoke battling it out for the Prem every year.
Matthew Le God Posted 8 June, 2010 Posted 8 June, 2010 Eventually everything will go pop and it will be Saints vs Stoke battling it out for the Prem every year. Sounds good to me.

What are they charging per transaction? (Dune, that one's for you)

JonnyLove Posted 8 June, 2010 Posted 8 June, 2010 on a separate note. Apparently Aston Villa's season tickets are about £300 for an adult. WTF
SuperMikey Posted 8 June, 2010 Posted 8 June, 2010 Season ticket prices for last season and the season before:

There's a great article in the Mirror (Tuesday) which compares our PL with the Bundeliega. Their wage to income ratio is capped and they make a profit! Apparently this wage cap is coming our way also! With places in Europe at risk if a qualifying club does not meet that criteria.
Huntingdon Posted 9 June, 2010 Posted 9 June, 2010 Watch Panorama on BBC1 NOW Very interesting programme http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00snmrj/Panorama_Man_United_Into_the_Red/
Arizona Posted 9 June, 2010 Posted 9 June, 2010 Same clubs aren't they? In a few years time Stoke will probably have Connelly, Thomas, Waigo, Jermaine Wright and Skacel playing for them too.
CB Saint Posted 9 June, 2010 Posted 9 June, 2010 So when portsmouth needed the money most they cut their prices by up to 16% last year. Mentalists.
