Which reminds me - it's bin day tomorrow.

Thanks.

Oh, and .... Sir Rickie by a mile again.

If we're using the official sites scale of time, in the next few days.

They're in the queue behind Dickson who's still trying to get through his medical - having trouble providing a sample perhaps?

:(

**** on my fire why don't you.

I'll rephrase it!

Well done! Good spot!! However, just about every player known to man has been mentioned on one HCDAJFU thread, or another!

Is that better? :)

Chances of being pards first signing of next summer if he carries his ability into the league?

Charlie Austin, McLean at Peterboro and Lee Hughes will be giving Rickie some competition.

I'll be interested to see how many Pitman scores at BournemouthWHO???

Lee Hughes won't give Rickie any sort of competition, and chicken legs Pitman will perhaps get into double figures but he's no more than a League One player - attitude and workrate will prove that

Surprised nobody has mentioned Lee Barnard yet ... he has got comparable strike ratio to Rickie. It's just how many games he'll get

I reckon it will be Barnard as the leagues top scorer..

rickie will pull a hammy or break a metatarsal or something and be out for up to 2 months at some point

If that happens you'll get hunted down

This is a question better asked and answered the day before the first game of the season - we don't know who will be brought to League One yet by any team, but as it stands now, you simply can't look past our front two. I'm not sure Barnard will play enough games to get a decent goal tally. I think he's a good, hardworking player, with a keen eye for goal, but if Pards opts to play the 4-5-1 more often than not, then it's Barnard that will be the sacrifice.

Lambert for me.

Lee Hughes wont, he's ginger and yet another one that is a c***

If he stays free from injury Lambo will be the man he is a goal scoring machine as the song goes.

It will be interesting to see if Lallana can get as many goals next season getting to 20 last season should really boost his confidence fingers crossed

Playing for Sheffield Wednesday or after they sign for us...?

;) For Wednesday! Heffernan has just signed he won't be leaving and I don't think you would have the cash to sign Tudgay.

Another one that doesn't seem to actually know how our fortunes have now turned around, leaving us with the 4th richest owner in English football?

4th? Hey, what's a place in the rich list between friends? :-)

Rich chairman or not I doubt very much you will sign anyone for £2m+ and on £10k+ a week wages this pre-season. We'll wait and see :)

We probably wont need too as we are after decent players that are not trying to cash in on a club willing to spunk money on has beens. ;)

;) I wouldn't call Tudgay a has-been at 27 years old.

Don't Wednesday have some pretty serious financial problems?

Surprised the likes of Tudgay and Grant haven't left already, to be honest.

Like most ex-Prem clubs we're not in a great financial position but it's not "serious". £25m debt but at present it is serviceable and we have a long-standing and freshly renewed long-term agreement with the Co-op bank. We've been in near enough the same position for going on 10 years.

;) If you want serious financial problems you want to have a look at our porcine neighbours along the road. Their overall debt figure is WAY higher than ours.

Haha I was talking about the truffle hunters at the Lane, but your neighbours too are in serious trouble.

TBH I thought he was older than that. We have just signed alegedly the best RB in L1 at 27 years old so I have no witty answer for you. lol

Good use of terminology saying that you doubt that we will, rather than doubt that we can. That sort of money is small change to Markus Liebherr, the sort of amount he might find down the side of his armchair. But thankfully he isn't the type to flash the cash unecessarily when players sufficiently good enough for getting us promoted out of this division and even the one above, can be picked up for less than that. Arguably though, it would require more than that to entice us to let Lambert go elsewhere, so from that perspective we already have players of that value but did not have to pay out that sum for them. And I'm content to believe that both Lambert and Barnard will outscore Tudgay.

Lambert cost us £1m and we paid him 3 times as much as what he was on at Brizzle. Don't rule anything out. However, I don't want to see us waste cash here there and everywhere. We seem to have a good control on expenditure and I'm happy with that.

Even more so if he did, your not in for him are you?

We hope/wish we are. He'd be enough to ensure we have a strikeforce to take us to the PL, I reckon.

Huddersfield

They should do pretty well but they were a long way behind us by the end of last season in terms of optimum performance level. I would expect Lambert to get more.
