Arizona Posted 26 June, 2010 Posted 26 June, 2010 Lotta bitterness ladies, have t'say this US team totally added to this excellent World Cup. Positive attitude, strength in adversity, genuine excitement and no rolling around-cheating and being a bunch ponces. Come on admit it, a very value added tournament component. Well done US and thanks. They have been pretty entertaining at times, but I wouldn't say they were anything that special. I'm glad Ghana went through, but more because I like Ghana than any anti-American feeling.

Thedelldays Posted 26 June, 2010 Posted 26 June, 2010 what did they add exactly..? nothing that no other team has not
alpine_saint Posted 26 June, 2010 Posted 26 June, 2010 what did they add exactly..? nothing that no other team has not Well, they've been higher quality and more entertaining than England for a start.
Ohio Saint Posted 26 June, 2010 Posted 26 June, 2010 USA have definitely added to the tournament. Slipped up a lot in the early parts of the games, but have shown a lot of spirit and commitment when the chips were down.
Thedelldays Posted 26 June, 2010 Posted 26 June, 2010 Well, they've been higher quality and more entertaining than England for a start. that is not the point..I would say england have been dire...being better than england in the group stages is hardly anything to shout about..
Dark Munster Posted 26 June, 2010 Posted 26 June, 2010 They have been pretty entertaining at times, but I wouldn't say they were anything that special. I'm glad Ghana went through, but more because I like Ghana than any anti-American feeling. Apart from Kevin-Prince Boateng, surely?
sadoldgit Posted 26 June, 2010 Posted 26 June, 2010 This American team would get relegated form the Premiership.
Ohio Saint Posted 26 June, 2010 Posted 26 June, 2010 This American team would get relegated form the Premiership. The world cup is not a league.
once_bitterne Posted 26 June, 2010 Posted 26 June, 2010 USA have definitely added to the tournament. Slipped up a lot in the early parts of the games, but have shown a lot of spirit and commitment when the chips were down. Fries....
TijuanaTim Posted 27 June, 2010 Author Posted 27 June, 2010 Yeah, did you? Good one wasn't it (and that ain't a question).
RedArmy Posted 27 June, 2010 Posted 27 June, 2010 Then you will have seen Dempsey and Altidore diving all over the place.
Thedelldays Posted 27 June, 2010 Posted 27 June, 2010 and donovans "cum face" before getting tackled...
skintsaint Posted 27 June, 2010 Posted 27 June, 2010 I thought Dempsey was actually dying a couple of times the way he went down.... only to get straight back up once freekick was one.
TijuanaTim Posted 27 June, 2010 Author Posted 27 June, 2010 This American team would get relegated form the Premiership. LOL...what would happen to England then, just asking?
TijuanaTim Posted 27 June, 2010 Author Posted 27 June, 2010 they would get relegated from the Bundesliga Mush, they wouldn't even get picked in the Bundersligue with their over-inflated attitudes...unlike Michael Bradley and Steve Cherundelo.
