So this fella that stabbed someone else to death (allegedly) over a forum (can imagine it actually), well BBC have run a new story about him leaving a message on his victims facebook page, and they list the GF's name.

If you look her up on facebook, then view her friends, sure enough you can see the fella in question...

How do you know that is the same Joanna Whitton? I mean there are normally a few 'john Smiths' and although not as common, there are surely still a few of her?

Well. facebook only had Joanna Whitton's, both in Nottingham, and one of those had a friend with the same name as the (alleged) murderer (David Heiss). Kinda narrows it down...
